Welcome to ¡Esto es Lucha! The place to learn all about the different promociones (promotions) of Lucha Libre! And this is the place to feel and know about Lucha Libre News in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Chile.

This weekend, you’ll have in this post about CMLL, AAA, The Crash, and Flamita. This time in Esto es Lucha, we will know about some events and luchadors about these promotions. We’ll talk about the main events of week and news about these promotions, so, let’s go to the Latino world wrestling.

    CMLL

    Photo/CMLL

Last Tuesday at Arena Mexico, CMLL gave us the main event between Caristico, Angel de Oro, and Niebla Roja against Cavernario, El Felino, and Mephisto. From the beginning, Felino attacked Angel de Oro. He had a goal and it was to beat Angel de Oro. The first fall was for the rudos who controlled the Tecnicos.

The second fall started with the control of rudos, but Caristico handled the reaction with a Tornillo over the rope. Straight into Cavernario and Hermanos Chavez with a great combination pinned Felino and Mephisto to get the fall.

The last fall started with great speed and moves of the tecnicos. But when Angel and Felino were face to face, Angel asked a hair match. The match was for the tecnicos when Caristico beat Cavernario with La Mistica. But the question will Angel and Felinos give us a Hair match? Highflyer vs Experience for sure.

Also, CMLL has announced that on Friday 6th December, they’ll show a night of memories where they’ll book Legends of Lucha Libre. This night will be amazing for one night. This night could see Rayo de Jalisco Jr, Canek, Negro Navarro, Solar Tinieblas Jr, Mascara Año 2000 and others. It’s a great way to close the year and this could be called a gift of Christmas for all the great fans.

Last Friday 15th November, CMLL and their crowd gave recognition to Tiger Hattori, the ref from NJPW. CMLL giving thanks to his great career in this business. This a great gift from CMLL. They don’t only recognize the luchadors, also they thank all the people that have taken Lucha Libre to heart.

    AAA

The next events announced by AAA in December were Triplemania Regia and Guerra de Titanes.

The first one will be held on 1st December in Monterrey, Mexico. The most important thing is that Rush and Dragon Lee will be in AAA. The main event will be a Cage match where the participants will bet their mask or hair. In this match, it will be Psycho Clown, Blue Demon Jr, Aerostar, Dr. Wagner Jr, Monster Clown, Texano Jr, Rey Escorpion and Chessman.

The semi-final match will be a great three-way dance between L.A. Park, Pagano, and Rush. This match will be awesome and full of aggression. And another great match or dream match is for the AAA Championship between Kenny Omega, the champ, against Dragon Lee. This could be a great match, two great athletes and we are so sure that they’ll give us a lot of passion and creativity in the ring. Also, Reina de Reinas Championship will be in the line in a five-way dance match between Taya, Keyra, Faby Apache, Akayo Hamada, and Lady Shani.

The next event Guerra de Titanes will be 14th December in Ciudad Madero Tamaulipas. The main event will be a No Disqualification match between Psycho Clown, Dr. Wagner Jr, and Drago against Rush Toro Blanco, Bestia del Ring, and Blue Demon Jr.

Another great match is the rivalry between Big Mami and Lady Maravilla. But this time it will be a Hair match. Also, AAA Tag team Championships will be on the line. The champs Lucha Bros will defend the gold between Angelico and Australian Suicide and Hijo de Vikingo and his partner – a Luchador Sorpresa or Mystery Luchador, Who will support Vikingo that night?

AAA will close the year with greats events, the most important that they will have in their events Muñoz Family and with a great partner AEW.

    THE CRASH

    Photo/The Crash LL

The Crash this 23rd November from Tijuana will be closed off-season and they’ll close the year with another awesome event.

Image/ facebook.com/ The Crash Lucha Libre

The main event is for The Crash Championship where Rey Horus the champ will be facing Marty Scrull and Bandido. This three-way match is absolutely awesome. In the last event, Bandido asked for an opportunity to face Rey Horus and his request was granted.

Another match is a Tag Team match between Lucha Bros and Angelico and Jack Evans, two of the AEW’s teams.

And a great Single match will be Bestia 666 and Jimmy Havoc. Also, in this event will be great luchadors from IWRG, NLL, and DTU, they are Emperador Azteca, Imposible and Brazo de Oro Jr. These luchadors showed in differents indy promotions that have great skills and deserve to be in great events and great companies. So this time has the opportunity in Tijuana against Zarco, Arandu, and Star Boy. A great event to close the year.

    LUCHADOR SPOTLIGHTS
    FLAMITA

ROH has confirmed that Flamita will be part of their roster. Flamita signed a deal for a year. This was for his great talent and skill that Flamita showed on a UK tour. Flamita took advantage of this opportunity and his effort was rewarded. For this tour, Flamita was recommended by his best friend Bandido. So, we hope to see Mexablood together again but now in ROH. Flamita has been part of Dragon Gate, The Crash, AAA, MLW and now it’s time to made history in ROH.
