#NEWS: Young Bucks Talk CM Punk And PAC

Matt and Nick Jackson aka The Young Bucks spoke to Chris Van Vliet recently about all things All Out and All Elite Wrestling in general. With the PPV being held back at the Sears Centre in Chicago, the conversation eventually got round to one of the Second City’s favorite sons, CM Punk.

Nick spoke to Chris and said:

“We’ll be honest, of course, we would love Punk to come to our company. At this time, I just don’t think he wants to. Matt talks to him all the time about it but the timing is not right, I guess.”

    Matt then joined the conversation:

“When he wants to come back to wrestling, it’ll be his decision. Professional wrestling is the most demanding thing in the world. You can’t just find yourself back in it one day and be like, ‘Okay, I guess I’m doing this again.’ You really have to want to do it and that’s up to him.”

At AEW’s last big PPV, Double Or Nothing, Hangman Page was meant to face off against PAC, but that match never happened. Rumors where differences in creative caused the cancellation of the match, but Matt and Nick are still sure that PAC will make his debut in AEW “eventually”.

    Matt remarked:

“He’s coming. I mean, eventually. It’s a priority for us and I think we’re gonna make this thing work.”

Nick shed further light on the issue:

“It’s a work in progress. It’s obvious that Matt and I are big fans of his. We met him like 10 years ago over in Japan, so we’ll always have ties with him and we wanna work things out with him. I think it’s just a matter of trying to fit his schedule with ours and hopefully, things will work out.”

Blake’s Take: The CM Punk question will roll on and on until his dying day by the looks of it. It’s a shame that any wrestling event held in Chicago will always have that “Punk question” attached to it. If he shows up to All Out it will be a major coup to the fledgling company. If he doesn’t, then no biggy. And as for PAC? The quicker he can get himself to AEW the better. He is tearing it up across the independent scene at the moment. The momentum he’s creating could be a huge asset to AEW.
