New TNT Champion & Wardlow’s Return
This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite was headlined by the third TNT Championship bout between Samoa Joe and Darby Allin. With each man holding one victory a piece the third match in the trilogy was set as a No Holds Barred Match, with the loser unable to challenge the winner again for the TNT Championship.
As expected, the match was incredibly physical, with Allin even introducing a thumbtack-covered hoodie. The defending TNT Champion scaled the ropes to attempt a Coffin Dop, but Joe met him with a Muscle Buster for the victory.
The now two-time TNT Champion and current ROH Television Champion didn’t have much time to celebrate, as Wadlow made his AEW return. Wardlowe, a former TNT Champion in his own right, charged Joe in the ring and attempted a Powerbomb Symphony before the new champion escaped. Another TNT Championship clash between the two big men seems inevitable, perhaps at Revolution.

MJF’s Next Match
AEW World Champion MJF will compete in his second match since becoming AEW World Champion, facing Konosuke Takeshita in a World Title Eliminator next Wednesday. After defeating Brian Cage on this week’s episode, Takeshita and MJF brawled backstage. Renee Paquette then announced Tony Khan had made an eliminator match between the two official for next week’s show, much to MJF’s dismay. If Takeshita wins, he earns a future AEW World title shot.
This comes as Takeshita continues to back Bryan Danielson up, who continues to rack up wins in the hopes of challenging MJF in a 60-minute Iron Man Match come Revolution. This week, Danielson defeated Timothy Thatcher in his fourth consecutive singles victory.

House Rules Tour Announced
AEW have announced their first house show tour for next month. The company announced Wednesday in a press release that they will kick off their “AEW House Rules” live event series starting on March 18 in Troy, Ohio.
AEW previously held a single house show, branded “The House Always Wins” back in April 2021. This will mark the first non-televised tour the company has run.
“As a lifelong fan of professional wrestling who grew up attending house shows, AEW House Rules is an exciting next step in our journey, giving fans a new level of access to top-tier professional wrestling,” said AEW President and CEO, Tony Khan. “We’re always looking for meaningful ways to engage with our fans, and AEW House Rules will be a great way for them to connect with our incredible talent and experience AEW in an intimate setting.”

4. The Elite Makes First Trios Title Defense
The Elite made their first successful defense of the AEW World Trios Championships on Friday’s Rampage. Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks got the best of The Firm’s Ethan Page, Matt Hardy and Isaiah Kassidy. The Elite now look towards next week’s Dynamite, when they’ll take on AR Fox and Top Flight in an Eliminator Match.
Top Flight upset the Young Bucks in shocking fashion last week. AR Fox and Top Flight previously unsuccessfully challenged Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Championships, prior to their defeat in the Best of 7 Series at the hands of The Elite.

5. Jade Goes 50-0
AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has extended her undefeated streak to 50-0. Her 50th win came on Dynamite against her former “Baddie” henchwoman, Red Velvet. While Kierra Hogan and Leila Grey fought on the outside, Velvet covered Cargill but the referee was distracted. Cargill was able to hoist Velvet up, planting her with Jaded for the victory. Who can possibly dethrone the TBS Champion?
