The sound of footsteps begins to echo through your ears. Your eyes quickly glue to the screen as you look upon the gaze of a young man dawning a white surgical mask.
The man in the mask has eyes that clearly tell a story. A story that you are instantly hypnotized by as you try to figure out this mystery of a human being. The man you are staring at is the antidote, and his name is JK Moody.
In this crazy world of professional wrestling, it can be a very daunting task to grasp a style of your own inside the squared circle. It can be equally difficult to unveil a character that truly stands out to the fans.
He has managed to do both of these things is a very short amount of time. The work that J.K Moody has managed to produce in Southern Pro Wrestling New Zealand proves that he is a name that the world will soon be talking about.
JK Moody began his career along with his good friend and fellow SPW superstar Kane Khan. Moody, along with Kane Khan, went to their open day tryout with SPW New Zealand’s training facility in February of 2016.
Moody then went on to make his professional debut in July 2016. To stand out and rise to the top of SPW New Zealand, Moody needed to find his voice, and so the antidote was born.
The change in attitude from J.K Moody led to a heated rivalry with long-time friend Kane Khan that has been one of the incredible standout rivalries in SPW New Zealand so far.

Moody went on to have a very successful run with the SPW New Zealand Championship. He is considered to be one of the top stars when it comes to SPW New Zealand.
He has now twice made his way to Australia and competed in Melbourne City Wrestling, having made quite the impact there upon both of his visits. In his short career, J.K. Moody has also had the opportunity to go toe to toe inside the squared circle with Will Osprey.
At the moment, Moody continues to flesh out this antidote character. It is dark, clever, and very intriguing, and it will soon leave its mark on the rest of the world as well.

As fierce as he is determined to excel, J.K Moody continues to pursue greatness in New Zealand. He has stood across the ring from such greats as Will Ospreay. While nerves come to get the best of Moody, he pushes through them to be the best.
It has been a few years since he captured a title but that isn’t to say that Moody has given up the pursuit for gold anytime soon. His quest for greatness is only matched by his belief to settle. And he doesn’t appear set to settle any time soon.
