Florida legends unite to establish a pro wrestling promotion. Negdog Championship Wrestling will be launching a new promotion shortly. They will be associated with Veteran Pro Wrestling, which was established in 2014.

Military veterans and first responders founded VPW to raise money for various military/first responder charities. It was to also to help give a push to many independent pro wrestlers.

Negdog Championship Wrestling is led by the expertise of individuals who had the following legends as mentors: Larry Sharpe, Johnny Rodz, The Great Malenko, and Jimmy Valiant.

They have a new vision with an old-school mindset and are trying to bring back what many consider a dying art of traditional American-style professional wrestling.

Negdog will be having its inaugural show called “Music & Mayhem,” and it debuts on 1/25/2025 at Circle S BBQ at 14630 US-19 Hudson, Florida, 34667.

The doors open at 6 pm, and the bell time begins at 7 pm. The Pro Wrestling seminar will start at 1 pm for those who want a chance to learn from the best.

Pro Wrestling legends such as ECW’s Bill “Fonzie” Alfonso, Pitbull #1 Gary Wolf, Jason Knight, WCW legends Cuban Assassin Ricky Santana, and a rare appearance by Chainsaw Tony.

Some of the featured matches for that evening will be a student versus teacher match, Ricky Santana vs up and coming NWA superstar Nic Swift for the Heritage title championship, Jason Knight vs. “The Society Changer” Sammy C., tag team action Sons of Battle vs Puerto Rican Hound Dogs, Pro wrestling’s first responder Rescue 911 Chris Valiant vs The Iron Kaiser Krieger, and the main event for the first-ever NCW heavyweight championship Cuban Assassin with Fantasy vs. Pitbull # 1 Gary Wolf with Fonzie.

Other featured stars on that card include pro wrestling’s only active Native American pro wrestler, Suma Te Woke La, The Pirate Trent Edwards, The “DA Rulez” Grandatto, James Morrison, “The Captain” Aaron Nova, and many more of Florida’s premier pro wrestling talent.

Making his Florida debut is a newcomer to the pro wrestling scene, a failed Soviet science experiment Russian Manimal Volkoff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsXbOyN29Qc, and he will be teaming up with The Gulager. Russian Manimal Volkoff has been recently banned from several pro wrestling promotions for his animalistic and barbaric behavior towards anyone who is in his path.

Nic Swift will be making his NWA debut Feb 2, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, for NWA power taping. NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Thom Latimer, Women’s World Champion Kenzie Paige, and World Tag Team Champions Knox & Murdoch are scheduled to appear.

Also slated to appear are Natalia Markova, National Champion Mims, “La Princesa” Tiffany Nieves, Aron Stevens, The Southern Six, and many more.

This event is scheduled from 2–5 pm. General admission is only $14.95. Tickets are on sale now! HERE  Location is WEDU-PBS Studios 1300 North BLVD, Tampa, Florida; type promo code SWIFT at checkout

Live music and comedy provided by Comedian Lawrence Green, Ekko Sykes, Tommy Burnz, Anni Loc Post, and DJ Damage.

The company offers encouragement and acceptance towards all who want to learn, and because of this philosophy they have included a young man who goes as Chill Guy Cutter.

Cutter is a very brave young man who is on the autism spectrum, and has given him an official position with the company.

The other goal is to utilize pro wrestling to help all up-and-coming musicians. They are uniting many people through music by not making a political statement.

They want to be inclusive of all people, just like it was back in the 1980s during the Rock n Wrestling connection, with a modern twist, obviously, and the unique addition of comedy.

It’s been rumored that they will start a women’s division with some women from WWE, ECW, WCW, TNA, New Japan, National Wrestling Alliance, and WOW.
