On September 7th, 1988, the NWA presented the Clash of the Champions III Fall Brawl. It featured a US title match between Barry Windham and Sting, Ricky Morton and Ivan Koloff in a Russian Chain Match, and Dusty Rhodes faced Kevin Sullivan. NXT Worlds Collide
On Sunday, September 4th, the WWE’s NXT brand presents NXT Worlds Collide. An event that is set to unify the titles of both NXT programs. It was recently announced that NXT UK will be closing and returning in 2023 under the NXT Europe brand and name. Who will that include and who will that involve is yet to be determined. After a quarter of a century, Jerry Lynn excelled with each and every opportunity in front of him. His career initially began competing in the Northern United States in states such as Michigan and Minnesota. On August 12th, 2006, in Liverpool, England, Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness, a title unification matchup between them at ROH Unified. The match would pit the World Champion (Danielson) against the Pure Champion (McGuinness). The two had faced one another in the first-ever title versus title match in ROH history a little more than three months earlier.
