On the upcoming edition of AEW Rampage for 02/24/23 will be a battle! On tap are four matches slated to take place, with one involving two-thirds of the AEW Trios Champions. The other matches include; a revenge match, a match involving a monster, and a match as part of an ongoing rivalry between a man and a faction.
This past week’s edition of AEW Dynamite for 02/22/23 continued to announce matches for AEW’s upcoming Revolution pay-per-view. Rampage is fitted with highlighting notable names on the brand and building towards their forthcoming event.

Lance Archer in Action
The return to The Murderhawk Monster on TV also suggests that someone is likely to be hurled from one end of the ring to the other. But who is the unfortunate soul that will stand across the ring from Archer? As of this writing, no one has been announced as his opponent. But if no one being named is any indication of what lies ahead, the run.
Archer is agile, intense, a former champion, and has every tool imaginable to be considered a threat to any championship. While we don’t know who his opposition is (unless we were to scour spoilers), then one could presume it would be a local talent that he would face.
AEW Rampage for 02/24/23
Willow Nightingale vs. Toni Storm
These two are no strangers to one another. In fact, it was after a match with Willow Nightingale that Storm, along with Saraya, would turn heel. Since then, while Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker have been in a battle with Storm and Saraya, Nightingale seemed to be lost in the shuffle.
Fans will recall that Nightingale and Ruby Soho were aligned and would battle Storm and Saraya. But somewhere along the way, Willow seemed to have been booked to take a backseat rather than be won to come after them. Well, now it appears as though Willow has been thrust back into the turmoil.
As it seems as though a whole host of names are involved, then we can trust that the AEW Women’s Champion is also likely to be involved as well. So does this bode well for Nightingale or not? We’ll see tomorrow night.
AEW Rampage for 02/24/23
Action Andretti vs. Sammy Guevara
It doesn’t appear that the Jericho Appreciation Society is finished with Action Andretti. Or is that Action Andretti isn’t finished with the Jericho Appreciation Society? In this instance, these two athletic talents look to have a match that will blow the roof off those in attendance.
We have seen Action Andretti shock the world and defeat Chris Jericho. But he needs to cut through the entire faction to prove how exceptional he is. Those who have seen Andretti compete outside of AEW have seen his quick ascent from independent talent to a contracted worker.
Andretti is only a three-year pro and has, in that time, captured the MCW Heavyweight Championship. Action was the Maryland-based promotion’s champion for just short of three months by the end of 2022. Will Guevara also face the same fate ‘the Ocho’ faced when he faced Action Andretti?
AEW Rampage for 02/24/23
Young Bucks vs. Aussie Open
We could look at this match as being one of two things. It’s either a shame that this match is happening at 10 pm eastern on a Friday. Or, for the sake of Rampage and its ratings, maybe it’s a blessing that it’s happening at 10 pm eastern on a Friday. Both teams have captured championships.
Both teams are part of factions led by former IWGP Heavyweight Champions, and both teams have captured their fair share of tag team championships. For fans of NJPW and the UK scene, they are well aware of Aussie Open. So while North American audiences may not be as familiar with the United Empire’s premier tag team, the rest of the world likely is.
The last time Matt and Nick Jackson were in tag team action, they lost to Top Flight. Will they be inhospitable hosts to this equally internationally traveled tag team?
What to Expect:
- Page and Moxley address how AEW Dynamite ended this past week.
- MJF shares his thoughts on what took place recently with Bryan Danielson
- The Gunn’s continue to press Jarrett and Lethal to help them in riding the tag team division of providing another other competition leading into Revolution
