Christian Cage vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

On last week’s show, Taz came out to see if Christian Cage would join Team Taz. Christian quickly declined. He might have immediately regretted his decision as he suffered a vicious attack at the hands of Team Taz member Powerhouse Hobbs. Cage can get some revenge this Wednesday night.

It is certainly a mixture of experiences for this singles match. Christian Cage, the 47-year-old veteran, will be in his second match after joining AEW. Powerhouse Hobbs is 30 years old and has only been in AEW for nine months. Can Cage overcome Hobbs after last week’s attack? It will be fun to find out.

Billy Gunn vs. QT Marshall

On AEW Dark: Elevation, QT Marshall attacked Billy Gunn. It was a continuation of the feud that has been building between the Nightmare Family and The Factory. QT Marshall seems to want to get revenge on all members of the Nightmare Family for perceived wrongs. Will he claim another victim against the 57-year-old veteran?

Trent vs. Penta El Zero Miedo

The feud between The Best Friends and Death Triangle quickly jumped into high gear on AEW Dynamite. Trent has only recently returned to AEW television. This will be his first singles match on AEW Dynamite since November 4, 2020. Can he be ready for Penta El Zero Miedo?

Penta El Zero Miedo has been showing a more vicious side in recent weeks. His last singles action was in a brutal fight against Cody Rhodes on St. Patrick’s Day Slam.  What will this member of Death Triangle have in store for Trent?

Ricky Starks vs. Hangman Page

This unique match is between two of the hottest talents in all of AEW. These two wrestlers have a combined seventeen-match winning streak. One streak will come to a sudden end on Wednesday night in Jacksonville.

Ricky Starks might be really distracted on Wednesday night. He seems to be having major issues with other members of Team Taz, especially Brian Cage. Meanwhile, Hangman Page has gained strong allies from the Dark Order in recent weeks. Will either of these developments affect this singles match? It will certainly be fun to find out.

Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Tay Conti
(AEW Women’s World Championship)

Tay Conti has been on the biggest roll of her career in recent months. She has won nine of her last ten singles matches. She has defeated the likes of Nyla Rose and The Bunny on recent Dynamites. The talented 25-year-old wrestler will get a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship on Wednesday night.

Hikaru Shida has dominated all challengers since winning the title at AEW Double or Nothing last May. But she has only defended the AEW title twice in 2021. Can the Champion be prepared for the young challenger on Wednesday night? Conti has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Darby Allin (c) vs. Jungle Boy
(TNT Championship)

Darby Allin won a brutal Falls Count Anywhere Match against Matt Hardy on last week’s AEW Dynamite Main event. Most people would take some time to recover after such a brutal affair. Darby Allin is not most people.

Darby Allin’s Open Challenge continues with another very dangerous challenger, Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy has quickly become one of the fan favorites for the Jacksonville crowd. Can he ride their energy on Wednesday night? Jungle Boy has come so very close to winning the big one on so many occasions in his AEW career. Will he break through against Darby Allin? It will be a great main event for another edition of AEW Dynamite.
