Who will face MJF for the title at AEW Revolution as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 2/4/26?

We are over a month away from AEW Revolution, but the contenders are eyeing MJF’s World Championship. At Grand Slam Australia, we will start to learn his opponent.

Who will be in the match on February 14th? We will start to find out on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday. Let us learn more about this big card in Las Vegas in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

Hangman Adam Page vs. Mark Davis

Hangman Adam Page wants his AEW World Championship back. He has made it no secret he wants a shot at MJF for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution. But he has a big roadblock this week in Las Vegas.

Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family has been called upon to “take out” the Hangman. MJF has even offered money to injure Page.

Davis is coming off a huge loss for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, where he also lost his tag team partner to injury. Can Hangman survive an angry Davis?

Ricochet (c) vs. Jungle Jack Perry
    (AEW National Championship)

At New Year’s Smash, Jungle Jack Perry had a match against Ricochet for the AEW National Championship. Naturally, The Demand helped Ricochet retain the title that night. But they had one more shocking surprise for Perry.

After the match, The Demand attacked and injured Luchasarus. He will be out of action for months. Perry, however, wasn’t going to take that attack lying down.

He has kept his sights set on the Demand. He and the Young Bucks defeated the Demand in Trios Action in early January.

And he won a Number One Contender match recently. Can he finally overcome Ricochet and take his AEW National Championship? Perry better watch his back on Wednesday night.

    MJF vs. Brody King
    (AEW World Championship Eliminator Match)

In the last few weeks, MJF has faced a lot of potential challengers. But none of them is as physically intimidating as Brody King.

King and MJF have been involved in quite the battle on the mic in recent weeks. But they will meet in the ring for an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match in Las Vegas.

With so many challengers threatening MJF, will he overlook Brody King? If he does, King will get a future title shot. That is certainly another headache MJF doesn’t need heading into AEW Revolution.

    Kenny Omega vs. Andrade
    El Ídolo

It is a singles match with huge stakes. Kenny Omega will face off with Andrade El Ídolo in Las Vegas. The winner of their match will go on to Grand Slam Australia and win a spot in the Number One Contender’s Match. The winner of that match will get a shot at the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution.

Kenny Omega has been on a roll in 2026. He has won two singles matches already this year. For a 42-year-old veteran wrestler, just seeing him in multiple singles matches is quite impressive. He says he hasn’t felt this good in years. Can “The Cleaner” get one more run at the AEW World Championship?

Andrade El Ídolo has also set his sights on the AEW World Championship since his return to the company. He picked up his biggest victory to date when he defeated Swerve Strickland on last week’s AEW Dynamite.

Can he pull off an even bigger victory against Kenny Omega? It should be a great match on Wednesday night with such high stakes.

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for the Young Bucks?
    • Who will challenge Kris Statlander for her title next?
    • Will we begin to learn more matches for Grand Slam Australia?
