It is a huge night on AEW Dynamite! Three titles are on the line as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/28/26!

For this episode of Dynamite, AEW is sure pulling out all the stops. We will have a TNT Championship, AEW World Tag Team Championship and an AEW Women’s World Championship match. We even have a match between two of the best wrestlers in All Elite Wrestling. It will be a big night for sure.

Let us learn more about this huge card in Austin in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    MJF Appears Live In Austin

AEW World Champion MJF has a lot of people setting their sights on him recently. Kenny Omega is looking for another AEW World Championship run.

Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page want their title back. And on last week’s AEW Dynamite, Brody King interrupted to call his shot as well.

MJF will be live again on this week’s AEW Dynamite. What will he have to say this week? Will he be interrupted by another wrestler looking for his title show? MJF better have his head on a swivel these days.

Swerve Strickland vs. Andrade El Ídolo

On AEW Collision,  Andrade El Ídolo defeated Magnus. After the match, he said he had unfinished business and wanted a match against Swerve Strickland on this week’s AEW Dynamite.  El Ídolo wants the AEW World Championship and thinks Strickland is in his way.

Swerve Strickland scored an impressive victory over Kevin Knight on last week’s AEW Dynamite. He too wants the AEW World Championship.

Will the victor this week be next in line for a title shot? Both Swerve and Andrade could make a good case on Wednesday night.

Mark Briscoe (c) vs. El Clon
    (TNT Championship)

El Clon began his AEW career as a thorn in the side of Hologram. He interfered in his matches and eventually took part in an attack that sidelined Hologram last September.  El Clon made his in-ring debut in 2026  and has picked up three victories in recent weeks.

Mark Briscoe wants revenge. He rightfully blames El Clon for injuring Conglomeration member Hologram. Briscoe has even agreed to put his TNT Championship on the line on Wednesday night.

Will that decision backfire? El Clon and the Don Callis Family will stop at nothing to win titles. They could pick up another in Austin.

FTR (c) vs. Davis & Doyle
    (AEW World Tag Team Championship)

At Maximum Carnage, a 4 Way Tag Team match was held to determine the next challenger for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

The match had established teams in JetSpeed, GOA and the Young Bucks. It also had Mark Davis and Jake Doyle teaming together for the first time ever. Naturally, Davis and Doyle won the match and the title shot.

Can the newest team in Davis & Doyle take the Tag Team titles from FTR? Davis and Doyle have a combined 35 years of professional wrestling experience.

They certainly won’t be afraid of the challenge in Austin. Can the Don Callis Family claim multiple titles on Wednesday night? It would be foolish to count them out.

    AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/28/26
    Kris Statlander (c) vs. Thekla
    (AEW Women’s World Championship)

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Thekla demanded a title shot against Kris Statlander. She had recently pinned Statlander in Trios Match. She told Kris to “enjoy her life” and she would get her title shot in Austin.

Kris Statlander has already had quite a history of matches against “The Toxic Spider”. But we know Thekla won’t come alone. The Triangle of Madness will be close behind. Can Statlander overcome the odds against the group yet again?

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for Kenny Omega?
    • What will Jon Moxley and the Death Riders do next?
    • Will more wrestlers join the Don Callis Family?
