The announcements have begun for IMPACT Wrestling’s one night only special event over WrestleMania weekend. The first returnees to be announced are Ken Anderson and D’Lo Brown who will be representing the polarizing faction, Aces & Eights.
Here is the official announcement:
BREAKING: @dlobrown75 and @mrkenanderson representing the Aces and 8s have been officially announced for TNA: There’s No Place Like Home on April 3rd as part of @wrestlecon!

D’Lo Brown comes as no surprise, as he has been doing background work for IMPACT for years it seems. Ken Anderson, on the other hand, is unique as he was out of professional wrestling completely until late last year when he returned and has since been a common competitor on NWA Powerrr. Considering this is a one night only event, most will believe that one of the most despised factions in TNA and wrestling’s past decade will also remain one night only.
If you check out the comments from the tweet that made the announcement, fans are speculating who else may be joining Brown and Anderson from the Aces & Eights faction.
For those who need a refresher, here are the members of the group:
- Bully Ray
- Brooke Tessmacher
- Garett Bischoff
- Mike Knox
- Taz
- Devon
- D’Lo
- Luke Gallows
- Ken Anderson
- Wes Brisco
A number of names here, including the leader of the group Bully Ray. While fans know he is currently with Ring of Honor, never say never when it comes to professional wrestling. The other names on the list are signed to WWE, AEW, or seemingly available by all accounts to make an appearance.
Aces & Eights is debuted in June of 2012 and ran rough shot on TNA until they finally disbanded in 2013. Fans of the brand at times are on either side of them hating it or loving it, never really in the middle. But for one night only, it can’t hurt. This is the first of what should be many announcements and surprises for that special night.
