Earlier today, on social media, All Elite Wrestling announced another match for Fyter Fest, which will take place on June 29th from Ocean Center at Daytona Beach, Florida. In singles competition, Jon Moxley, who made a shocking appearance following the main event of Double or Nothing, will square off against “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela.

For those that are interested in attending Fyter Fest, tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 12 PM EST.

Here is the announced card, so far, for Fyter Fest:

    Jebailey vs. Michael Nakazawa
    Cody vs. Darby Allin
The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) vs. PAC and The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix)
    Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela

Sutter’s Synopsis: With Fyter Fest being roughly one month away, All Elite Wrestling is tasked with creating a card that will get fans talking. Needless to say, the addition of Moxley, who is one of the hottest acts in professional wrestling today, will provide a substantial boost. Since Moxley made his shocking debut following the main event of Double or Nothing, laying out not only Chris Jericho but Kenny Omega, fans wondered what his next stop would be. Would his focus remain on Omega, who lost the aforementioned main event, or would he set his sights elsewhere? For now, Moxley’s attention will be set on a new foe.

Moxley will be busy in 2019, it would seem. Outside of his commitments to AEW, he will also be participating in New Japan Pro Wrestling, specifically against IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson. As Moxley continues to make dates, across different promotions, his stock will continually rise. His eventual match with Janela will provide an interesting contrast as well. What will unfold as the cocky, brash attitude of Janela meets the cagey, attack first ask questions later mentality of Moxley? Fans will find out at Fyter Fest next month when Jon Moxley faces Joey Janela.

As a fan for over 20 years, I strongly believe there's no sport better than professional wrestling. Whether it's writing about the sport I love or meeting those that have impacted it in a major way, I always enjoy myself. Outside of wrestling, I'm into writing, gaming, and tokusatsu.
