Following the Raw on Netflix debut, the follow-up episode appears to have its share of surprises, as we preview Raw in Advance for 01/13/25.
As last week’s episode broke ground and made history, it is about what happens next that is more the story that needs to be told.
With the second week of Raw on Netflix set to take place it is all about crowning new champions, a street fight, and battling through on going rivalries.
While there is no certainty on which match will kick off Raw on Netflix, one match could be the one to set the tone. That match is determining, who will be the first ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion?

Women’s Intercontinental Championship Final
Dakota Kai vs. Lyra Valkyria
For anyone who has followed Dakota Kai’s career over the past few years, it’s nearly impossible not to feel for her. After suffering injuries, professional setbacks, and missed opportunities, her time could finally be now.
As a member of Damage CTRL, Kai appeared to be the one member torn between siding with Bayley and siding with Asuka, Kairi Sane, and IYO Sky. But that time seems to be behind Kai now.
With the finals set to take place this coming week, the chances of it being an all-Damage CTRL final were dashed, as Lyra Valkyria was the reason for this happening.
But with Kai likely the sentimental favorite going into the match, where does that put Lyra Valkyria? Will fans feel a sense of indifference for Valkyria? Or could they feel nothing at all for her during this match?

??? vs. Chad Gable
While question marks do pose a bit of intrigue leading into who Chad Gable will face, the question is why there is uncertainty about who exactly he will be taking on.
On the previous week’s edition of Raw on Netflix, Gable approached Adam Pearce with an open challenge to the best lucha wrestler today.
Now, while it would be easy to ask who among the LWO would face Gable, the answer is that it’s unlikely that one of them will stand across the ring from Gable.
With rumors running rampant as to who it would be, the names tend to begin and end with a certain former AEW tag team champion believed to be the one that will stand across the ring from Chad Gable.
Will it be a case where American Made’s Chad Gable will prove this is his ring, and everyone is just living in it or will it be the night where he faces someone that has no fear – cero miedo?
Raw in Advance for 01/13/25
Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser
Will Monday Night once again prove to be Fight Night? This will be the question that Sheamus looks to ask Ludwig Kaiser as the two battle on this week’s edition of Raw on Netflix.
These two are no strangers to one another, having faced each other several times in the past. Will the winner of this match once again challenge Bron Breaker for the WWE Intercontinental Championship?
Fans have seen what these two are capable of against one another. They have bludgeoned and battered each other from one end of the arena to the other.
Fans may recall how Kaiser’s confident GUNTHER has told him to go out and make a name for himself. Will a win here against Sheamus secure his role as a threat for Raw’s Intercontinental Championship?
Or will this finally be the time for Sheamus to put Kaiser in his rearview and look ahead to the one title that has alluded him throughout his WWE career?
The only certainty fans will have about this match between these current rivals is that it will be a hard-hitting affair and whoever comes out of the match on top will likely be the next threat for Breaker’s title.

Street Fight
Damien Priest vs. Finn Balor
“IT’S OVER WHEN I SAY ITS OVER”. With those words uttered by Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, it doesn’t seem he is prepared to end the rivalry until he’s ready to do so!
For WWE fans that have followed the betrayal of Balor and Judgment Day against Damien Priest know that time will eventually come for payback to be had.
Each time it appears that Priest is on the cusp of recapturing the World Heavyweight Championship or that he has put Balor and Judgment Day behind him, he is mistaken.
With their upcoming Street Fight the indication could be that this is their blowoff match. That regardless of who comes out on top, that the other will leave their adversary and the animosity once held behind them.
There has been speculation that the company is believed to be standing behind Finn Balor and that a singles push awaits him.
Will that rumor play a part in the result of this match? Or will this be the first step in Priest once again becoming El Campion?
What To Expect:
- The “debut” of PENTA
- CM Punk and Seth Rollins make clear what lies ahead for them
- The New Day match against Rey Mysterio and another LWO member is likely to take place.
