This week’s preview of AEW Rampage for 7/15/22 comes on the heels of an exciting edition of AEW Dynamite during week one of Fyter Fest. It features two matches, including an ROH World Championship, and two matches, including two who were a tag team just a week ago! We will also see a match involving members of Andrade’s Family Office and the former AEW World Tag Team Champions.
On top of this, we will hear why The Gunn Club cut their ties with The Acclaimed and what that means moving forward. Here is our AEW Rampage for 7/15/22 preview.

The Gunns Explain Why They Turned on The Acclaimed
It was only a couple of weeks back when it appeared as though Billy Gunn had cast his sons aside to be at the side of Max Castor and Anthony Bowens. But as soon as Bowen’s was cleared to compete, all bets seemed off. In what appeared to be two teams divided, all came to a head when Billy, Colton, and Austin collectively beat down Castor and Bowens. For week’s fans saw Billy wheel down Anthony, who was recovering from an injury.
But now, the two teams are at odds. Could this be partly because of how over The Acclaimed are with the audience in an effort to turn them face?

Private Party vs. Lucha Brothers
One of the best things about Rampage is fans will get a chance to see matches whose sole purpose is to entertain. This very match achieves that as it puts two teams with exceptional talent in the ring and lends them the opportunity to rise. What is a little odd, though, is the inclusion of Andrade in the graphic? Didn’t he say something previously about casting his ‘Family Office’ aside? (We’re paraphrasing, but you get the idea)
With there being animosity between Rush, Andrade, and the Lucha Brothers, it would be fair to presume anything less than a win by Private Party could lead to them being excommunicated.

Ring of Honor World Championship
Jonathan Gresham (c) with Tully Blanchard vs. Lee Moriarty
Only a week ago, Jonathan Gresham seemingly turned on his partner Lee Moriarty. The biggest surprise may not have been Gresham’s turn but, in fact, his new allegiance with Tully Blanchard. While it is unfortunate that this match is scheduled for a Friday night program, it will be an exceptional match nonetheless. With Death Before Dishonor a week away, it is surprising that this match wasn’t slated for that show instead.
While a win by Gresham is more than likely to happen on this week’s episode, the question is will the result lead to a follow-up match leading into Death Before Dishonor. Fans are assured that Blanchard is likely to get involved, and Moriarty faces a disadvantage even if Matt Sydal is by his side.
