With 2020 behind us, it’s time to focus on 2021, and Magnum Pro Wrestling is doing that in style. This Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska, and live on iPPV, Magnum Pro presents Magnum Pro Anniversary Volume X. Championships will be on the line, and feuds will be settled as the stars of Magnum Pro ring in the new year with a bang. Even more important, Saturday’s show is a fundraiser with all the proceeds going to Midlands Humane Society. Now, let’s take a look at the match card for Saturday night.

Magnum Pro Anniversary Volume X
Magnum Pro Heavyweight Championship Cage Match
“Bad Boy” TJ Benson © vs. Redwing “The Barbarian.”
When TJ Benson won the Magnum Pro Championship in a bloody contest back in October, a new era began. Since then, the pro wrestling and mixed martial artist has sat atop Magnum Pro with confidence and swagger.
The man he took the championship from, Redwing, is hell-bent on winning his championship back. These two stepped into the ring together last month during Magnum Pro’s Silent Night Violent Night show in a tag match. That night, Redwing and Yellow Dog emerged victorious against Benson and his partner Damien Saint. After the match, Redwing made the challenge for a rematch, and now they will meet inside the confines of a steel cage.

NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship Match
Nick Aldis © vs. Jaysin Strife
Ten pounds of gold are coming to Omaha this Saturday. Nick Aldis, the reigning, defending NWA Heavyweight Champion, brings his prestigious title to Magnum Pro. Waiting to meet him is one of Magnum Pro’s franchise players in Jaysin Strife. With the opportunity of a lifetime in front of him, Strife is bound and determined to not only compete with Aldis but defeat NWA Champion. A man with nothing to lose and everything to gain makes for a dangerous challenger. Something Strife stressed in a recent promo….

Magnum Pro Tag Team Championship Lumberjack Match
The Coalition © vs. Popsicle
The Coalition (Nicky Scent & Pat Powers) and Popsicle (Donnie Peppercricket & Tim Boston) have been at war over the Magnum Pro Tag Team Titles for months. Sneak attacks, title changes, and wild matches have all taken place throughout this feud. With that in mind, this Saturday’s contest will be the final chance for each team to prove who is the best. Surrounding the ring will be a group of lumberjacks there to help maintain order in hopes we get a clear cut winner.

Gateway Heritage Championship Match
Jeremy Wyatt © vs. “Copperhead” Duke Cornell
If hard-hitting, no-nonsense wrestling is your thing, then missing this match will be a huge mistake. Wyatt, the long-standing Gateway Heritage Champion, continues to prove just how good he is every time he steps in the ring.
Last month during Silent Night Violent Night, he defended his championship against “Buns of Steel” J Fowler. Saturday, he’s looking to make yet another successful trip to Omaha. Duke Cornell brings a different type of threat to Wyatt’s reign. Willing to brawl with the best and able to hang in a technical scrap, Cornell will be up for the challenge. Oh, and this match will be contested under Pure Wrestling Rules adding another level of intensity.
“Bad Street Beauty” Miranda Gordy vs. Marti Belle
This match features two ladies making their Magnum Pro debuts Saturday night. Miranda Gordy, the daughter of Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy, comes into Saturday with something to prove. Known throughout Texas area independent wrestling, this is a prime opportunity to pick up a big win. Her opponent, Marti Belle, made a name for herself competing in the WWE Mae Young Classic. She brings excitement to the ring that is tough to match. The fans are in for a treat when these two-step between the ropes Saturday night.
Niles Plonk vs. U-Gene Dinsmore
Former WWE Superstar U-Gene returns to Magnum Pro Saturday night, and he has his hands full with Niles Plonk. As the resident win connoisseur of Magnum Pro, Plonk wants to make a name for himself as the guy who defeated a former WWE Superstar. Fans love to hate him and will be more than happy watching U-Gene give him a case of comeuppance Saturday night.
Pre-Show
The pre-show Saturday night is chalk-full of exciting match ups. It will feature The Culture, Damien Saint, Gable Galileo, Brandon Nytroe, Nino Hatchet, Brixton Nash, Jack Darling, and The Sad Lads, Jameson McGreggor and Teddy Mercury.
The show begins this Saturday at 7 p.m. central time on iPPV.
