With all WWE shows now currently airing from the Performance Center, the roster of NXT is now looking to step up as they bring us a brand new episode! And fresh off two big announcements from WWE, there is much to come for the black and gold brand. Fans can anticipate the BROserweights and Undisputed Era matchup. Triple H Will Appear Live On-Air!
Released early Tuesday morning, WWE and Sports Illustrated announced via Twitter that WWE COO and curator of the NXT brand Triple H will appear live on Wednesday’s broadcast. Along with that announcement, it was stated that Takeover: Tampa Bay will still go in but this time the matches will take place on next Wednesday’s NXT on USA! Will HHH announce the matches that will take place? We find out Wednesday.
An NXT Legend vs. NXT’s Future
After a brief encounter with one another 2 weeks ago, the match is signed on for Tyler Breeze to face his ‘flash in the pan’ opponent Austin Theory. A true clash of past vs. the future, can the former EVOLVE champion continue to climb the latter? Or does the Gorgeous One once again become the focus of the brand?
Li vs. Aliyah II for the Women’s Championship #1 Contender Ladder Match
It was almost 6 months ago when these two clashed with Xia Li getting the victory. This time we run it back and we raise the ante as Xia faces ‘The Boujee One’ Aliyah for the 2nd spot in the ladder match which now will take place on April 1st which will crown the next #1 contender for the NXT Women’s’ Championship!
Third Qualifier for the Women’s Championship #1 Contender Ladder Match Take Place
In the second qualifier of the night, and third overall, we get another Womens’ Championship #1 Contender Ladder Match as Candace LeRae faces rising star and newcomer Kayden Carter, who gets her second shot to get in this match. With all the drama with her husband, can Candace focus on once again facing for the NXT Women’s title? Or will Kayden start her journey on the road to a Cinderella story?
The War Between the BROserweights vs. The Undisputed Era Continues!
While the BROserweights continue to be one of the most dominant tag teams in NXT history in particular against the Undisputed Era. To lose a match as a team since the beginning of the Dusty Classic, the Undisputed Era continues to hover around the titles. Wednesday, it will be Matt Riddle vs. Roderick Strong to see which faction will take the upper hand!

And finally, after officially passing Finn Balor as the longest-reigning NXT Champion ever in the brand’s history, what will the Undisputed Era’s prophet have to say about his now historic title reign?
