Earlier today, on social media, it was confirmed that Jon Moxley will square off against Kenny Omega at All Elite Wrestling’s August pay-per-view, All Out.
This match’s build began at Double or Nothing, which took place this past May. Following a loss in the main event to Chris Jericho, Omega was left in a heap. Suddenly, Moxley made his way through the crowd and jumped the barricade before entering the ring. Moxley laid out Jericho with Dirty Deeds before setting his sights on Omega. The two brawled toward the stage, where Moxley ultimately disposed of Omega by throwing him off the poker chips-styled structure.
As of this writing, the only other match that has been confirmed for All Out is “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Chris Jericho; this match will decide the first-ever AEW World Champion. All Out will take place on August 31st, from the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Sutter’s Synopsis: Anyone that has followed All Elite Wrestling since Double or Nothing may not be entirely surprised to hear that Moxley and Omega will face off. However, the fact that it will take place at All Out, arguably AEW’s most anticipated event, will only make the show in question that much more must-see. It will also be the apex of a feud that, as Double or Nothing exhibited, will be nothing short of violent.
As far as the winner is concerned, it can be argued that this can go either way. On one hand, Omega has lost a number of big matches this year, so it would make sense for him to go over Moxley. On the other hand, Moxley has been on something of a hot streak since leaving World Wrestling Entertainment. His recent work, not only in AEW but New Japan Pro Wrestling, proves that he has more to offer. Moxley’s hunger is more insatiable than it has ever been, so him winning against Omega would not be shocking. Either way, this will be a match that fans anticipate, and rightfully so.
