The First Navigation Night 6 | Pro Wrestling NOAH Saturday Night RetroView

On January 19th, 2014, Pro Wrestling NOAH aired The First Navigation Night 6 of their tour in front of 1,400 fans in Fukuoka, Japan. This emanated from inside Hakata Star Lane. We had seven matches, including one title match for the Junior Heavyweight championship.

The First Navigation Night 6
Yoshinari Ogawa vs. Hitoshi Kumano

Hitoshi Kumano starts the match by dropkicking Yoshinari Ogawa, sending him into the corner.

Elbow by Kumano, then an Irish whip to the other corner, and he hits another elbow followed by a vertical suplex. Kumano goes for a Fisherman suplex, but Ogawa gets out of it, but Kumano hits another dropkick.

Elbow smash by Kumano, he goes off the ropes and hits a second one, then hits a third, which knocks Ogawa off his feet, then covers, but it gets two.

There is a backslide and a roll-up by Kumano, but they get two counts as well. Then Ogawa drops Kumano with a DDT and applies a single-leg crab hold, but Kumano makes it to the ropes to force a break.

Ogawa throws Kumano shoulder-first into the ring post twice and hits a backdrop suplex. He picks up Kumano and hits a second backdrop suplex, then drags him up again and hits a third. Ogawa gets Kumano to his feet again and hits another backdrop suplex for the win.

Winner: Yoshinari Ogawa (3:46)

No Mercy (Genba Hirayanagi & Daisuke Harada) vs. Ricky Marvin & Bobby Fish

Genba Hirayanagi charges Ricky Marvin in the corner and goes up to the top rope & hits a missile dropkick, then a cover, but it gets a two count.

Hirayanagi applies a waistlock before Daisuke Harada comes in the ring & double Irish whip, but Marvin fights them both off. Superkick by Marvin to Harada and he tags in Bobby Fish.

He applied a double Irish whip to Hirayanagi, but Hirayanagi ducked the lariat attempt and grabbed both low. He then applied a wrist clutch exploder by Hirayanagi and a cover, but it got a two-count.

Hirayanagi picks up Fish and goes for Shoryu Genba, but Fish blocks it. Lariat by Hirayanagi, then he picks up Fish, and Harada hits a top turnbuckle elbow drop.

Cover by Hirayanagi but Marvin breaks it up then Harada throws Marvin out of the ring. Hirayanagi waits for Fish to get up, but Fish ducks Shoryu Genba.

Marvin comes in and kicks Genba, then Fish hits a gutbuster, then a cover, but Genba kicks out. He kicks the leg by Fish, and he nails a Left Kick to get the win for his team.

Katsuhiko Nakajima vs. Xtra Large

Xtra Large positions Katsuhiko Nakajima in front of the corner and goes up to the top rope, but Nakajima is up and kicks Xtra Large before he can jump off.

Nakajima then joins Xtra Large and hits a superplex, followed by a cover by Nakajima, but it gets a two-count.

Nakajima picks up Xtra Large and goes for a backdrop suplex, but Xtra Large elbows out of it.

Kick to the chest by Nakajima, and he finally hits the backdrop suplex, but Xtra Large comes back with a German suplex and a lariat.

Xtra Large puts Nakajima in front of the corner, then goes up to the top turnbuckle and hits a corkscrew senton, then a hook of the leg, but Nakajima gets a shoulder up.

Xtra Large waits for Nakajima to get up, then puts Nakajima on his shoulder, but Nakajima hits a victory roll for a two-count. Nakajima hits a trio of kicks to the head, followed by a PK Kick for the win.

6 Man Tag Team Match
TMDK (GHC Tag Team Champions Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste & Jonah Rock) vs. Mohammed Yone, Naomichi Marufuji & Atsushi Kotoge

Headbutt by Atsushi Kotoge, and he goes for it again, but Jonah Rock hits a release German suplex. Then Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls come in the ring and hit strikes onto Kotoge, a body press by Rock, but Marufuji breaks up the pin attempt.

Rock picks up Kotoge and puts him on his shoulders, but Kotoge rolls him up for a two-count. Kotoge then goes off the ropes and hits a swinging kick to the head and a cover, but it also gets two.

Kotoge goes off the ropes again and goes for a hurricanrana but Rock catches him and hits a folding powerbomb for a two count. Rock picks up Kotoge and hits Rock Driver to get the win for TMDK.

Kenta vs. Maybach Taniguchi

Maybach Taniguchi attacks Kenta before the bell rings and he stomps Kenta in the back. Taniguchi gets his metal stick and tries to hit Kenta with it, but Kenta ducks. Irish whip by Kenta, but it gets reversed, and Kenta hits a big boot to the face.

Kenta picks up Taniguchi’s stick and throws it out of the ring. Then, an elbow by Kenta, but Taniguchi rakes him in the eyes. Taniguchi goes off the ropes, but Kenta hits a power slam.

Kenta goes out to the apron and hits the swan-dive dropkick, followed by a pair of dropkicks in the corner.

Kenta goes up to the top turnbuckle and nails the diving double stomp, followed by a cover, but it gets a two-count.

Kenta picks up Taniguchi and puts him on his shoulders, but Taniguchi grabs the referee to get down. Kenta goes off the ropes but Taniguchi throws the referee at him and hits a lariat.

Taniguchi goes out of the ring to get his metal stick, brings it back in, and hits Kenta in the midsection with it.

The referee tries to take it from him, but Taniguchi pushes down the referee and hits KENTA in the head with the stick again, so the referee has seen enough and calls for the bell.

Winner By DQ: Kenta (2:09)

After the match, Taniguchi walks to the back, but Kenta goes out after him, and they fight backstage. They battle back to ringside, and Kenta knees Taniguchi in the stomach. Kenta asks the referee to restart the match, and he obliges, so we are going to go again.

Kenta vs. Maybach Taniguchi

Kenta picks up Maybach Taniguchi, but Taniguchi elbows him, and they trade blows. Kenta goes off the ropes, but again, Taniguchi throws the referee into Kenta.

Taniguchi throws Kenta out of the ring and goes after him, throwing Kenta into the railing. Taniguchi brings Kenta towards ringside, but Kenta punches him back.

Taniguchi hits Kenta in the stomach with a chair and slams him into another one. Then, he picks up Kenta and takes him up into the crowd, knocking into the table with the poor cameraman on it.

Lariat attempt by Taniguchi but Kenta absorbs the blow then he grabs Kenta and chokeslams him through the table.

Mounted punches by Taniguchi and at some point the referee has had enough and calls for the bell again.

Junior Heavyweight Title Match

Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. Hajime Ohara

Taiji Ishimori picks up Hajime Ohara and goes for the Revolución, but Ohara gets out of it and goes for Muy Bien, but Ishimori gets out of that as well.

Ishimori dropkicks Ohara in the knee and kicks him in the arm, followed by another kick by Ishimori, but the cover only gets two. Scoop slam by Ishimori then he goes up to the top turnbuckle and hits the 450 Splash.

He goes for a cover, but Ohara kicks out. Then Ishimori picks up Ohara and goes for Revolución, but Ohara gets out of it and hits the Schwein. Then a cover, but it gets two.

Ohara picks up Ishimori and finally gets Muy Bien applied, but Ishimori manages to get to the bottom rope to force a break.

Ohara goes off the ropes, but Ishimori catches him with a lariat. They both go off the ropes, but Ishimori hits a lariat for a two-count.

Ishimori picks up Ohara and finally hits the Revolución to get the win.

Takeshi Morishima & Kenou vs. Jushin Thunder Liger & Yuji Nagata

Kenou kicks Jushin Thunder Liger off the apron before Yuji Nagata can tag him, then a snapmare by Kenou and he hits PK then a cover, but Nagata kicks out.

He kicks to the chest by Kenou, but Nagata absorbs the blows and hits an elbow. More elbows by Nagata, and he goes for a kick, but Kenou catches it and kicks Nagata low.

Takeshi Morishima comes in the ring, double Irish whip to Nagata to the corner but Nagata avoids Morishima and kicks Kenou.

Exploder by Nagata to Morishima before Kenou gets in the ring with the kendo stick but Nagata avoids it and hits a knee in the corner.

Brainbuster by Nagata to Kenou then a cover but Kenou kicks out. Nagata picks up Kenou and hits the backdrop suplex, then a cover, but Morishima runs in the ring.

Nagata knees Morishima, and with Liger, they hit a vertical suplex on Morishima. Nagata picks up Kenou and hits Backdrop Hold for the win.
