When it seems as if Bar Wrestling can’t come up with even more amazing and random names, Bar 36 proves everyone wrong. With the oddly named show Pickle Jar Hero at the American Legion, Bar Wrestling continues to give us some amazing wrestling cards with an array of talent. As usual, here’s a quick rundown of all the matches and announcements we’ve had on the cards. Obviously the card is subject to change, but hopefully, it will get you excited for the show!
Tyler Bateman and Darby Allin
When this match was announced, it seemed like heaven! We’ve been given two of the most unorthodox wrestlers in the middle of an unorthodox company’s ring and given them the chance to fight. We’ve first got Tyler Bateman who is well known and loved within the company. Then you’ve got Darby Allin who, although is not a Bar regular, is known around the world for his uniqueness. Both men have this daredevil style and also have been in the ring with some amazing stars from across the world. This makes this match something really to watch out for. Although we’ll have the usual amazing wrestling from both men, maybe it’ll get a bit hardcore and we’ll see some chairs, tables and whatever else they can get their hands on.
PPRay v Los Luchas
After making a splash in a big 8-man tag match at It’s Going to be May, Los Luchas are back again! They have shown their worth across the country with their high flying Lucha style and the way they can get the crowd behind them. However, with the much loved PPRay (Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas), it’s not going to be easy to pick up a win. PPRay has had so much experience not only in Bar but across America as both singles and tag team specialists. Like many matches, this is going to be a clash of style with the Lucha style of Los Luchas and the more traditional tag team offense of PPRay. Even with both teams being extremely talented, PPRay may have the advantage with their Bar history and also their history as a team!
Shazza McKenzie v Taya Valkyrie
The women within Bar Wrestling are some of the best in the entire world, especially for Pickle Jar Hero! Matches like this really show the emphasis Bar puts on their female talent and the opportunities they get. This is also a matchup of major polar opposites in terms of both style and personalities. Most Bar fans will know Taya Valkyrie’s strength and sass, as well as her ability to do whatever she has to do to pick up the win. Then we’ve got Shazza McKenzie who prides herself more on her agility and speed, but also honor. However, this doesn’t mean that Valkyrie will walk all over the Aussie star. Sometimes matches with such different styles are so exciting because you don’t know which way the match could go. Although both are such strong and able wrestlers, you may have to give Valkyrie the advantage with her Bar expertise and that ability to get the job done!
DoomFly (Eli Everfly and Delilah Doom) v Heather Monroe and Jake Atlas
The four wrestlers in this match are probably some of the best-loved in the entire company which will make for an amazing match! We’ve got DoomFly who is this perfect, cohesive unit who are just mesmerizing in the ring. However, Monroe and Atlas have teamed with each other on multiple occasions which means they’ve also got a great tag team chemistry. Because of this, it means that there is no certainty about who is going to win the match. However, what we can know is that it’s going to be a high flying and daring match. All four competitors are so athletic and are not afraid to head to that top rope or do something crazy. So, we’ve got DoomFly maybe with the chemistry advantage but Monroe is sneaky and knows how to get the pin which gives her team the advantage. No matter what happens, it’s going to be an amazing match.
Joey address’s his future
Ever since Joey’s injury and obviously the dispute between him and Lucia Underground, the futures been unclear for the King of Dong. So, Joey took to Twitter with some cryptic tweets and we’ve had this announcement to hopefully give us a better idea. Since that day, people do what they do best: speculate. Ryan hasn’t helped this either with hints about contracts and brand new t-shirts. However, it does seem that some options are a bit more plausible than others. Whatever Joey Ryan decides to in the future, let’s just hope that they let him use his dong for the greater good!
With some amazing matches on the card and a look at Joey Ryan’s future, this amazingly named show is really set to shine.
