The independent wrestling weekly news review for 10/12/20 is back for another week. During the last week, TNT Extreme Wrestling announced plans to work with Wrestling CRB to help provide further safety measures before running several upcoming events. ZELO Pro Wrestling continued their preparation for The Show Must Go On. That will be shown on FITE TV on Saturday, 17th October 2020.

TNT Extreme Wrestling & Wrestling CRB To Ensure New Safety Measures

Wrestle Carnival announced this week due to an increase in COVID-19 cases within the United Kingdom it will be impossible for the company to host any shows. The promotion hopes to host their first show in January 2021.

TNT Extreme Wrestling announced their next shop in development, IGNITION’s Little Show Of Horrors, shown on Powered 4 TV. The promotion has made one match official so far. Scott Oberman will continue his feud against Kameron Solas at Little Show Of Horrors. A TNT IGNITION Championship opportunity will be on the line. TNT Extreme Wrestling also announced that BT Gunn would be returning at TNT Supreme Extreme.

TNT Extreme Wrestling also announced they will be working with Wrestling CRB to ‘ensure all of our talent and volunteers have background checks before they are allowed to work on a TNT show.’ The promotion has come under criticism for the lack of details surrounding Wrestling CRB. But have promised to release more details soon to put fans and talent’s minds at ease.

ZELO Pro Wrestling will host their The Show Must Go On this weekend, Saturday 17th October, in Milwaukee, WI. The Show Must Go On is being held at the historic Turner Hall Ballroom. Zelo has promised it will be their biggest show of the year. The promotion has not held back with the planned card. Featuring ZELO’s Women’s Champion Laynie Luck, Aiden English, Warhorse, Jake Something, Alex Gracia, and much more. The Show Must Go On will be available on pay-per-view on FITE TV.

Synergy Pro Wrestling has announced an opportunity for those starting within the industry to attend Warhorse’s first-ever East Coast seminar. For $25 each, Warhorse will be teaching fellow wrestlers how to ‘set your promos, character, social media, and branding on fire.’ The seminar will take place on Saturday the 24th of October at the Monster Factory in NJ.

At Synergy Pro Wrestling’s Shadows, Brandon Kirk Will Defend His Championship Against Warhorse & Jordan Oliver

Also, on Saturday, 24th October, Synergy Pro Wrestling will be hosting their Shadows event. Current Synergy Champion Brandon Kirk will defend his championship against Warhorse and Jordan Oliver. Cheeseburger, TJ Crawford, Wheeler Yuta, Matt Macintosh, Kasey Catal, LSG, Matt Vertigo, and KTB will be in action alongside many more. Shadows are available to watch on pay-per-view via FITE TV

Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) held their latest wrestling event yesterday, Sunday 11th October 2020. As part of GCW’s The Collective weekend, Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport 3 took place at Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. Replays are currently available to purchase on FITE TV.

During the event, Jon Moxley faced off against Chris Dickinson, Davey Boy Smith Jr faced Josh Alexander. Homicide met “Filthy” Tom Lawlor in the GCW ring. Calvin Tankman matched up against Alexander James. Leyla Kirschsquared off against Lindsay Snow, and Allysin Kay met Killer Kelly in the squared circle, and much more. To avoid spoilers, please do not read ahead.
