Mike Knox vs. Nunzio

Nunzio jumps him from behind but gets hit in the face then a backbreaker gets a two count then some knees to the neck gets Knox a two count and he hits 4 straight slams. Knox misses a running knee only to come back with a big boot follow by the spinning Downward Spiral gets the win.

Winner: Mike Knox (3:30)

We get a recap of Rob Van Dam losing the WWE Title last night on Raw.

ECW World Champion Rob Van Dam comes in to see Paul Heyman and demands to defend against Big Show tonight. He isn’t letting the big guys run them over, and he’s fighting tonight. If he loses then so be it but he’s not backing down.

We get a video package on Test.

A bald man jumps the barricade and grabs the mic to complain about all of the filth that he is seeing around here. This program should not be on TV and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. If you enjoy ECW, you are a sinner who will burn in hell. Security tells him to go back over the barricade then The Sandman lays him out with a Singapore Cane shot.

Van Dam comes into Big Show’s locker room and slaps him in the face to accept the challenge.

After the break, Van Dam yells at Heyman for asking where his head is & Van Dam is here because they are ECW and stick to their guns. He has to beat Big Show to be a real ECW World Champion, which Heyman says is right as the ECW World Title match is on, and it’s under Extreme Rules.

Test vs. Al Snow

Test runs Al Snow over into the corner before he drills Snow to the mat with a TKO for the win.

Winner: Test (1:10)

After the match, Test kicks Head into the crowd.

We get a video package on Sabu.

The Vampire is outside and spits blood at the camera.

We get a backstage promo from CM Punk.

ECW World Title Extreme Rules Match

Rob Van Dam (c) vs. Big Show

The match begins with Big Show running Rob Van Dam over with a shoulder then a headbutt puts RVD on the floor. Show clotheslines him over the barricade, and they walk in front of the fans in the front row. RVD manages to jump onto the barricade for a kick to the head as we go to a break.

After the break, RVD hits a springboard kick to the face, but Show catches him on top with a superplex. Show kicks him in the head to keep him down and then stands on Van Dam’s chest in the corner. Then Show drops some elbows for a two-count. A bearhug doesn’t last long, so Show switches to a backbreaker and bends RVD’s back over his knee. RVD knees his way to freedom and kicks the knee out, followed by a basement crossbody.

Rolling Thunder gets a two-count, and there’s a running spin wheel kick in the corner. Show catches him in the air, though, and tosses RVD outside. The steps are picked up, but Van Dam gets in a drop toehold to send Show face first into them. RVD goes up top, but Show pulls the dive out of the air. Then RVD’s chair is swatted away, and there’s a chokeslam for a near fall.

Show knocks the referee away and grabs a powerbomb, only to have RVD hits him in the head, then the Van Daminator into the 5 Star Frog Splash, but there’s no referee & Heyman counts two and stops before 3 Show hits a chair shot to the head and a chokeslam onto the chair to get the victory.
