We are just two nights away from Turning Point and only 46 days from the end of the calendar year as we preview Brace for IMPACT for 11/18/21. Usually a time we can expect people to begin winding down, but things are winding up in IMPACT Wrestling. This Saturday Night, the stars of IMPACT Wrestling will shine over Las Vegas, Nevada, in an all-new episode of IMPACT on AXS. Here’s what you can expect from the lead-in to Turning Point in this week’s Brace For IMPACT!

Steve Maclin vs. Laredo Kid

At face value, Steve Maclin’s undefeated streak in IMPACT Wrestling is unlike anything we’ve seen since the days of Samoa Joe. On closer inspection, you’ll notice the man has two marks in the loss column. One came at Bound For Glory when Trey Miguel pinned El Phantasmo to capture the vacant X-Division Title. The other came the following week when Laredo Kid pinned Black Taurus to become the #1 contender.

Even though he wasn’t the man to take the pin, does that effect his undefeated streak? Steve Maclin seems to think so, as he’s challenged Laredo Kid to a singles match on this Thursday’s IMPACT Wrestling. Laredo Kid must be over the moon considering his X-Division Championship match on Saturday night; however, if Steve Maclin wins, we could see this become a triple threat match. Steve Maclin promises to bring the Maclin Mayhem this Thursday night for IMPACT on AXS.

The IInspiration vs. The Undead Bridesmaids

Two weeks ago, Knockouts Tag Team Champions Cassie Lee and Jessicka McKay hired Brandi Lauren and Kimber Lee to challenge former champions DECAY. Last week, The Undead Bridesmaids faced Havok & Rosemary in-ring. During that match, The IInspiration took to the stage to watch the match and scout their opponents. However, that caused a distraction for Brandi Lauren and Kimber Lee.

Capitalizing off the distraction, Havok & Rosemary turned that into a backbreaker/spear combo for the win. Following the match, The IInspiration challenged The Undead Bridesmaids for failing to defeat DECAY. This Thursday, The Knockouts Tag Team Champions step into the ring for the first time on AXS TV ahead of their championship rematch this Saturday night.

Doc Gallows (w/Karl Anderson) vs. Hikuleo (w/Bullet Club)

Last week, Chris Bey and El Phantasmo faced FinJuice in a #1 Contender’s match. Hikuleo was ringside for that match, assaulting Juice Robinson and David Finlay whenever one was outside the ring. Indeed, this was yet another example of Bullet Club using their numbers advantage to win. Following the match, tag team champions Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson came out seeking to right the injustice they had just witnessed.

To that end, a brawl broke out between The Good Brothers and The Bullet Club, wherein Hikuleo gained the upper hand, sending the towering Doc Gallows retreating to the back. This week, Doc Gallows proves he’s not afraid of Hikuleo as they meet in one-on-one action this Thursday night on AXS.

Josh Alexander vs. Minoru Suzuki

Two weeks ago, Josh Alexander met Minoru Suzuki in a 6-man tag team match. W Morrissey and IMPACT World Champion Moose joined Suzuki on the winning side, while Eddie Edwards and Matt Cardona backed up Alexander. Last week, Morrissey faced off with Edwards and Cardona for #1 Contendership. This frustrated Josh Alexander, and rightfully so, as he is still owed a world championship rematch.

However, when he asked Executive VP Scott D’Amore why he wasn’t in the #1 Contender’s match, D’Amore said he believes Alexander has some unfinished business with Minoru Suzuki. So, this week, Josh Alexander squares off with Minoru Suzuki, one-on-one, in what promises to be the most hard-hitting match of this week, if not all year.

What Else To Expect
