AEW Rampage Preview for 11/19/21 (TBS Championship Quarterfinals)

AEW Rampage Preview for 11/19/21. This week is the first Rampage after Full Gear this past weekend, and we have a stacked card of action. First, we will see Darby Allin take on Billy Gunn after an interaction on AEW Dynamite Wednesday; Darby All said he wanted the biggest and the baddest AEW has to offer, and Billy Gunn answered the call.

We will also see another match in the TBS Women’s Championship tournament quarterfinals as Jade Cargill takes on Red Velvet, we have seen these two ladies go at it before, but more is at stake this time. In other action, we will see Adam Cole & Bobby Fish take on Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus after Jungle Boy and Bobby Fish just went head to head last week.

This is sure to be another jam-packed week of action and matches. So let’s get to the matches and preview these upcoming bouts as we get ready for Friday.

AEW Rampage Preview for 11/19/21
Darby Allin vs. Billy Gunn

After some fallout on Wednesday night’s Dynamite, we saw this match come to be. This should be a good match. We have a veteran wrestler taking on an up-and-coming rising star in Darby Allin. Darby continues to show he can hang with the best of them. We haven’t seen a whole lot of singles action for Billy Gunn; he typically wrestles in trios matches with his son’s Austin and Colten.

This year, Darby Allin has an impressive record as he has won 20 out of his 23 singles matches. Gunn, however, has won 1 out of his three singles matches this year. Could this be an indicator of the outcome of this match?

We know Darby Allin continues to want to get in the ring with legends and newcomers alike to prove he has what it takes to be a top star in AEW, and there is no doubt he is on his way there. It will be interesting to see if Colten and Austin accompany their dad to the ring and get involved somehow.

TBS Women’s Championship Tournament – Quarter-Finals –

Jade Cargill vs. Red Velvet

This will surely be one heck of a match. These ladies have continued to show that they mean business. While Red Velvet has a very impressive record and can hold her own in singles standings, she is 19-4; Jade Cargill is still undefeated, standing at 16-0. If she keeps that momentum going, we could see her keep that undefeated streak alive by picking up the win over Red Velvet again.

However, we know Red Velvet will be putting up a fight with the chance to be the first TBS Women’s Champion. Both of these ladies have displayed that they have what it takes to be the champion, but at the end of the day, only one will come out on top and move forward in the tournament. Will we see Jade Cargill emerge victorious and keep the momentum going and maintain her undefeated streak? Will Red Velvet have what it takes this time to pick up the win and ruin Cargill’s streak, and advance in the tournament?

AEW Rampage Preview for 11/19/21
Adam Cole & Bobby Fish vs. Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus

We will see Jurassic Express take on long-time friends and former tag team partners Adam Cole and Bobby Fish this week. We have seen a little tension between these groups, as Jungle Boy did take on Bobby Fish last week. However, both of these teams have chemistry and work well together, so that will give them both a level playing field.

Cole and Fish are a little newer to AEW but have chemistry and teamed together for years before making it to AEW. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus are like a well-oiled unit. This match could go either way; Fish and Cole are both powerhouses; however, Luchasaurus is also a pretty strong guy, and Jungle Boy has the quickness and agility.

Jurassic Express is also one of the top-rated tag teams in AEW currently, so that could also work to their advantage. Will we see Cole and Fish more frequently work as a tag team, or will this be a one-off pairing? Tune in to Rampage Friday on TNT to see who picks up the win!

What to Expect:

  • Darby to pick up the win over the veteran Gunn.

  • Then, who will advance in the TBS Women’s Tournament, Red Velvet or Jade Cargill?

  • Will Bobby Fish and Adam Cole continue as a team, or is this just a one-time pairing?
