Well, that was quite a show on Sunday night. AEW All Out has the pro wrestling world buzzing after AEW’s best pay-per-view ever. It was filled with some great matches and many shocking debuts. We had Ruby Soho, Minoru Suzuki, Adam Cole, and Bryan Danielson all debut in front of a rowdy Chicago crowd. What can AEW do to follow up on its huge momentum? It is time for Jon Moxley’s Homecoming on AEW Dynamite! He has a huge match with one of the scariest wrestlers in the world! Let us find out more about this exciting night in Cincinnati in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 9/8/21.

Ruby Soho vs. Jamie Hayter
In the Casino Battle Royale on Sunday night, Ruby Soho debuted to an appreciative Chicago crowd. You could tell how much it meant to her as well as she entered the match. She was also impressive in her AEW in-ring debut. She finally eliminated Thunder Rosa to win the Battle Royale and gain a future title shot against Britt Baker. That future title shot seems to have set up Soho’s first singles match in All Elite Wrestling.
Jamie Hayter will be Soho’s opponent on Wednesday night. Hayter has played the role of enforcer for Baker since returning to AEW on the very first Rampage show. What damage will she do to Soho in Cincinnati? We know Baker will be watching as well. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see her get involved and try to take out Soho before their title match.
Malaki Black vs. Dustin Rhodes
Malaki Black seems to have made it his mission to destroy the Nightmare Family in his brief time in All Elite Wrestling. He destroyed Cody Rhodes, Brock Anderson, and Lee Johnson in the course of just a few weeks in brief, brutal matches. These vicious attacks have drawn the attention of “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes for a huge match on Wednesday night.
Dustin Rhodes is a 33-year-old veteran of the squared circle. He knows he will have to avoid Black’s mind games and vicious kicks if he is going to avoid the same fate as the rest of his Nightmare Family members. Is that even possible? Can Rhodes learn from the rest of the Nightmare Family and survive the wrath of Black? It will be a clash of two of the smartest in-ring competitors in Cincinnati.

Jon Moxley vs. Minoru Suzuki
So much for any easy Homecoming for Jon Moxley in Cincinnati on Wednesday night.
Jon Moxley had just finished a physical match with New Japan legend Satoshi Kojima at AEW All Out. That is when an even bigger Japanese legend entered through the “Forbidden Door.” Minoru Suzuki, the scariest 53-year-old man on the planet, debuted on All Elite Wrestling to an excited Chicago crowd. He chopped his way through Moxley on Sunday night. It seemed to set up a huge match between the two in the near future. I doubt many of us expected that future to be just three days later in Cincinnati.
Moxley has some history with Suzuki. The two had a great match at New Japan New Beginning in Osaka in February 2020. Jon Moxley defeated the IWGP United States Heavyweight Title on that night in Japan. The Pandemic prevented a rematch between the two warriors until Wednesday night.
What can we expect in their rematch? Their first match had multiple steel chair battles. It has multiple tables destroyed in their twenty-minute match. It has some really stiff Strong Style wrestling. Suzuki lost that night but clearly hasn’t forgotten about Moxley. We are in for a physical match on Wednesday night, and pro wrestling fans should be ready for anything in this epic main event. I cannot wait.
What To Expect:
- Who is next for CM Punk after a successful in-ring return on Sunday night?
- Will Bryan Danielson give his first in-ring promo in Cincinnati?
- Why did Adam Cole join the Elite?
