Darby Allin is not getting any rest as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 4/29/26. On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin will be defending his AEW World Championship for a second straight week.

Additionally, the TNT Championship, AEW International Championship and the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship titles will be on the line.

It is truly a Title Wednesday!  Let us learn more about this huge card in Fairfax in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    Rush in Action

On last week’s AEW Collision, Rush picked up a big victory over Adam Priest. Rush has been in a title-hunting mode in recent months.

He was part of the AEW National Title Battle Royal and TNT Championship Casino Gauntlet. It is clear he wants some AEW gold.

On Wednesday night, Rush will be in action. What will be next for “The Bull”? And who will get the horns in Fairfax?

Cage & Cope vs. RPG Vice

On AEW Dynamite, Cage & Cope had an interesting proposal. They wanted another shot at FTR at Double or Nothing. But if they lost, they would retire as a tag team. What will FTR do?

But on this week’s AEW Dynamite, Cage & Cope will wrestle together for the first time ever on the Wednesday night show.

They will face off against RPG Vice. RPG Vice has worked with FTR recently and would like nothing more than to take out Cage & Cope before Double or Nothing. It is a dangerous match in Fairfax.

Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Ace Austin
    (AEW International Championship)

The rivalry between Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita has become heated over the past few months. Okada generally seemed jealous of Takeshita’s success.

And no matter what he tried, Don Callis couldn’t keep the two members of his Family happy. They will face off at AEW Double or Nothing.

On this week’s Dynamite, Okada will defend his AEW International Championship against Ace Austin. Okada has held the title for nearly 300 days.

But will the impending match against Takeshita prove a potential distraction? While Ace Austin has had his biggest success recently in tag action, he isn’t to be taken lightly.

Divine Dominion (c) vs. Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander
(AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship)

Hikaru Shida has been on quite the roll since returning a few weeks ago. She fought for the TBS Championship, picked up two tag team victories with Kris Statlander and even defeated Mina Shirakawa last week in singles action. Can she possibly win some gold?

At AEW Revolution, Divine Dominion won the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships. They have won two tag team matches since winning the titles.

But this is certainly their toughest challenge to date. Can Bayne and Kross defeat the two former AEW Women’s World Champions?

    Kevin Knight (c) vs. MJF
    (TNT Championship)

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF complained about losing to Darby Allin and more importantly losing the AEW World Championship. This was certainly not a new tactic by Maxwell. But he received quite a surprise visitor last week.

Kevin Knight interrupted MJF last week. He bragged about winning the TNT Championship and pointed-out that MJF has never held that title. Knight even challenged MJF to a TNT Championship match last week. MJF agreed but only if it was a week later.

Can Kevin Knight pick up his biggest victory to date? It is certainly a difficult test against MJF. Especially since MJF will stop at nothing to win back some gold.

    Darby Allin (c) vs.
    Brody King
    (AEW World Championship)

Darby Allin has vowed to be a fighting champion. It certainly was surprising to see Darby willing to defend the championship each and every week.

Allin defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a brutal and physical match last week. But his next challenge quickly emerged post-match.

Enter Brody King. He has just picked up a victory earlier in the night against Lio Rush. He came out after Darby’s match to ask for a title shot in Fairfax. Naturally, Darby Allin said yes.

The history between King and Darby Allin is a brutal one. It has involved Coffin matches, Royal Rampages and even a physical match at WrestleDream 2024. Can Darby Allin really be 100% after last week? We know Allin will certainly give it his all.

    What To Expect:

    • Will FTR accept Cope and Cage’s challenge?
    • What will Chris Jericho and the Hurt Business do next?
    • What happened to Will Ospreay?
