Big Bill & Lee Moriarty vs. JungleHook
Jungle Boy has felt the wrath of The Firm for a few weeks now. Big Bill, in particular, has made Jack Perry’s life miserable, with multiple attacks on numerous occasions. That is until an unexpected ally, Hook, arrived to help out Jungle Boy on a recent AEW Dynamite.
What started as a two-on-one beatdown has become a tag team match. Can Hook make a difference for Jungle Boy in Los Angeles? Hook is certainly a hard wrestler to stop but Big Bill will be a different test for the “Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil.” Will the size difference between the two wrestlers be the deciding factor? It could be a fun match on a stacked card.

Jamie Hayter & Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. vs. Saraya & Toni Storm
The speculation has been high for Saraya’s mystery tag team partner since AEW first announced the match a few weeks ago. AEW fans were speculating if this would be the debut of the newest member of the AEW Women’s Division. It turns out Toni Storm will be tagging with Saraya this week on Dynamite.
The news came out last week when Saraya sat down with Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida for an interview. Shida was less than thrilled to find out she would not be tagging with Saraya in this match. Could this make the former AEW World Women’s Champion a factor in this huge match? Will more twists and turns be coming in this interesting feud? Only time will tell.

Bryan Danielson vs. Konosuke Takeshita
Bryan Danielson is raring to fight. He wants to get his hands on MJF for all his disrespect and for his attacks on Danielson’s allies in recent months. But it will come at a cost. Danielson must win each of his AEW Dynamite matches from now until February 8th. If he does so, he gets MJF in an Ironman Match at AEW Revolution.
Danielson certainly isn’t starting easy. His first opponent will be Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita has quickly become popular with the AEW audience for his hard-hitting and physical matches. This could be a show stealer on a huge show. Can Takeshita finally pick up a big win? And will MJF play a factor in the outcome? A lot of pieces will start to fall into place on Wednesday night.

Death Triangle (c) vs. The Elite
(AEW World Trios Championship Best of 7 Series: Match Seven Escalera de la Muerte Match)
It all comes down to this. Death Triangle and The Elite have had six epic matches. The Elite made a stunning comeback to get to the seventh, and deciding, Escalera de la Muerte match. It is time for a ladder match for the AEW World Trios Championship.
We have seen many of these competitors in ladder matches over the years. It has always led to some special moments. The wildcard in the match might be Kenny Omega. He is coming off a brutal match against Will Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom 17. Will he be able to help the Young Bucks on Wednesday night? Omega’s health might just determine the winner of the Trios Championship.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/11/22
Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page
On October 18th, 2022, Jon Moxley was having a great match against Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship. Twelve minutes into the match, a rogue clothesline from Moxley knocks Page unconscious. The audience stood aghast as the referee stopped the match, and Hangman Adam Page was taken to the back. Thankfully, Page was fine but hasn’t wrestled since that fateful night. That is until January 11th in Los Angeles.
Moxley will face Hangman Page in an emotional rematch on AEW Dynamite. While Page has demanded revenge for that fateful night in October, Moxley has been less than kind. He has mocked the toughness of Page and vowed to hurt him yet again. It should be a brutal match to hopefully end this personal feud. Can Page finally defeat Moxley in singles action? We know both will be ready for this emotional moment.
What Else To Expect:
- What will Chris Jericho do after losing two straight singles matches?
- What is next for the Acclaimed after defending their AEW World Tag Team titles?
- Will MJF be contractually obligated to appear in Los Angeles?
