It is time for the go-home Dynamite before the biggest AEW show (All-In) in its short history as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 08/23/23. And this Fyter Fest show will be a shacked one for sure.

This card has a tag title match, a trios match, a huge singles match, and a lot of face-offs between All In competitors. It should be an interesting night. Let us find out more about this loaded card in Duluth in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE.

Jack Perry Retires the FTW Championship

Jack Perry sure has been an arrogant FTW Championship since winning the belt on July 19, 2023. He has run down ECW and former FTW Champions repeatedly. He even defended the FTW championship against ECW legend Rob Van Dam on a recent AEW Dynamite.

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Perry has vowed to retire the FTW Championship. He is, according to him, the greatest FTW Champion ever. Will he actually retire the title on Wednesday night? Or will other wrestlers have something to say about his disrespect to the title in recent weeks? A lot of questions will be answered in Duluth.

Renee Paquette Speaks with Adam Cole & AEW World Champion MJF

Before the main event, All In at Wembley Stadium, in front of 80,000 people, MJF and Adam Cole will speak with Renee Paquette. What will both have to say about the World Title match at All In? It should be very interesting.

Both competitors have been the highlights of AEW television since their unlucky partnership in the Blind Eliminator Tournament. What will they have to say before Sunday night? Can their friendship survive yet again? We will find out more on Wednesday night.

FTR & Young Bucks Face-To-Face Interview

This highly anticipated match has certainly gotten more “interesting” in recent days. A lot of AEW fans are wondering, with personal issues outside the ring, will it actually happen at All In? The Face-To-Face Interview is certainly a sign this match will occur at Wembley.

What will happen when these two tag teams have one last face-to-face interview? Will they mention the big elephant in the room? It could lead to some tense moments before Sunday’s massive match.

Chris Jericho vs. Will Ospreay Contract Signing

Chris Jericho agreed to join the Don Callis’ Family last week. This was a surprising moment even for Don Callis, who had made a very violent-looking painting with a decapitated Jericho head on it in anticipation of Jericho’s rejection. Chris didn’t take this painting well but was surprised by a sneak attack by returning New Japan star Will Ospreay. A huge match between the two stars is now set for AEW All-In.

At Fyter Fest, Jericho and Ospreay will have a contract signing for their huge match-up. What will Ospreay have to say about his actions last Wednesday night? I am sure it will go as well as every other contract signing in pro wrestling history.

The Elite vs. Juice Robinson & The Gunns

Kenny Omega was talking about his issues with Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita in a sit-down interview when Bullet Club Gold and Takeshita viciously attacked Omega in Jacksonville. This set up a huge six-man tag team match between the Golden Lovers and Hangman Page versus Bullet Club Gold and Takeshita at All In. It should be a great match on a massive card.

Before Wembley, The Elite gets their hands on three members of Bullet Club Gold in The Gunns and Juice Robinson. Will Jay White and Konosuke Takeshita be waiting in the wings? It could be a chaotic Trios match with big stakes at Fyter Fest.

Aussie Open (c) vs. The Hardys
(ROH World Tag Team Championship)

Aussie Open will be defending their Ring of Honor World Tag Team titles at AEW All In Zero Hour in a massive match against MJF & Adam Cole. It will certainly be a potential show-stealer. That is if Aussie Open can successfully defend their tag team titles on Wednesday night first.

Aussie Open will be defending their titles against the legendary Hardys at Fyter Fest. Can Jeff and Matt pull off the huge upset and get a ticket to Wembley? Aussie Open better not underestimate one of the greatest tag teams of all time on Wednesday night.

Ruby Soho vs. Skye Blue

At AEW All In, we will have a massive Fatal Four Way for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Two members of the Outcasts (Toni Storm and Saraya) will be part of that match. What does Ruby Soho think of not being a part of this huge match?

At Fyter Fest, Ruby Soho will face Skye Blue in singles action. Skye Blue will also have a lot to prove as well since the Outcasts have been targeting her in recent months. Who will get the upper hand in the AEW Women’s Division heading into Wembley?

Swerve Strickland & AR Fox vs. Darby Allin & Nick Wayne

At AEW All In, Swerve Strickland and AR Fox will face Darby Allin and Sting in a Coffin Match. But before that, Nick Wayne will have the chance to get some revenge for the vicious attack by Strickland and AR Fox in a very personal tag team match. With these four talented competitors, it should be a special match.

Will anyone else get involved on Wednesday night? The Mogul Embassy certainly isn’t above cheating to get their way. And will “Joker Sting” make an appearance as well? It will be just as interesting outside the ring as it is outside on Wednesday night.

Jon Moxley vs. Rey Fenix

It was quite the moment to see Eddie Kingston return to AEW after a month-long excursion to New Japan’s G1 Climax. He just hates Claudio that much. It also set up a big twelve-man Stadium Stampede match at Wembley between Best Friends, Kingston, Orange Cassidy, and Lucha Bros. versus the Blackpool Combat Club and three mystery partners. It should be wild, for sure.

Before Wembley, BCC’s Moxley will face off against Rey Fenix. That could be an epic match in its own right between two of AEW’s best. But add in the upcoming Stadium Stampede match, and you could be in for a chaotic night in Duluth.

What To Expect:

  • Will we learn any last-minute matches for AEW All-In?
  • Will we learn any matches for AEW All Out?
  • Who will join Blackpool Combat Club in Stadium Stampede in Wembley?
