The First Navigation 2014 Day 11 – Pro Wrestling NOAH Saturday Night RetroView

On January 25th, 2014, Pro Wrestling NOAH aired The First Navigation Day 11 of their tour. The card had as many matches slated. They included an array of different matches, including one title match, and that was for the GHC Tag Team Championship.

Hayato Nanjo vs. Mitsuhiro Kitamiya

Armbar by Hayato Nanjo before Mitsuhiro Kitamiya gets out of it and gets in the side mount before applying a side headlock but Nanjo gets back to his feet and reverses the hold then a waistlock by Kitamiya, but Nanjo applies a side headlock.

Kitamiya Irish whips out of it, but they run into each other with both men still standing.  Kicks by Nanjo, then an Irish whip, but Kitamiya hits a shoulder block. Kitamiya picks up Nanjo an Irish whip, but Nanjo hits a jumping double chop.

Back up, snapmare by Nanjo and he applies a headscissors but Kitamiya gets out of it then some elbows by Nanjo and he rakes Kitamiya in the eyes before a knee by Nanjo connects and he goes for a suplex, but Kitamiya blocks it.

Elbows by Nanjo, and he goes for it again, but Kitamiya reverses it into his own vertical suplex.  Nanjo gets up in the corner, and Kitamiya charges him and hits a back elbow. Snap suplex by Kitamiya, cover, but it gets a two count.

Kitamiya picks up Nanjo and tries to put him on his shoulders, but Nanjo gets out of it but Kitamiya elbows him in the chest. Gutwrench suplex by Kitamiya, then a cover, but it gets a two-count.

Kitamiya picks up Nanjo and applies a waist lock, but Nanjo elbows out of it and hits an enziguiri. Nanjo slaps Kitamiya in front of the corner, then he goes up to the top rope and hits a moonsault, but it gets a two count.

Nanjo goes off the ropes, but Kitamiya catches him with a spear. Then Kitamiya picks up Nanjo and hits a Water Wheel Drop, then a cover, but Nanjo kicks out.

Kitamiya goes off the ropes, but Nanjo catches him with a Stunner before a Falcon Arrow by Nanjo connects, then a cover, but Kitamiya gets a shoulder up.

Nanjo drops Kitamiya in front of the corner, then goes up to the top rope and hits Tornado Splash to score the win.

Winner: Hayato Nanjo (8:25)

Yoshinari Ogawa & Hitoshi Kumano vs. Bobby Fish & Jonah Rock

Yoshinari Ogawa throws Bobby Fish shoulder first into the corner and then hits a backdrop suplex. Ogawa tags in Hitoshi Kumano & Kumano goes up to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick, then a cover by Kumano, but it gets a two count.

Kumano picks up Fish and hits a snap suplex, then he rolls it over and hits another one before Kumano goes for a fisherman suplex, but Fish gets out of it and kicks Kumano.

Armbreaker slam by Kumano, and he hits the fisherman suplex, but it only gets a two count.

Kumano goes off the ropes, but Fish slides out of the ring and then trips Kumano from the floor. Jonah Rock comes in and knocks Ogawa off the apron, then picks up Kumano, and with Fish, they hit a kick/Samoan Drop combination.

Kick to the side of the head by Fish, then a cover, but Ogawa breaks it up. Then Fish picks up Kumano and gives him a kick combination, but Kumano sneaks in a small package for a two-count.

Back up, Fish hits a gutbuster, and then a cover, but Kumano barely kicks out before another kick combination by Fish, ending with the Tombstone Kick from Rock, gets the win.

Winners: Bobby Fish & Jonah Rock (9:37)

Men’s Teioh vs. Xtra Large

Men’s Teioh falls out of the ring and pulls Xtra Large to the ring post by slamming his leg into it. Then Teioh applies a Figure 4 around the ring post before releasing the hold and returning to the ring.

Teioh kicks Xtra Large in the leg, Irish whip, Xtra Large goes for a kick but Teioh catches it and twists his leg around the 2nd rope then Teioh drags Xtra Large to the middle of the ring and slams his knee into the mat.

Teioh twists back on Xtra Large’s leg but releases the hold after a moment, then some punches by Teioh in the corner, and he knees Xtra Large in the leg. Irish whip by Teioh, but Xtra Large moves when Teioh charges in.

Kicks by Xtra Large, Irish whip, and Xtra Large hits a running elbow followed by a kick to the chest.  Running knee by Xtra Large, cover, but it gets a two count.

Xtra Large positions Teioh, then he goes up to the top rope, but Teioh avoids the twisting senton, then some elbows by Teioh to Xtra Large, and he hits a roaring elbow.

Back up, a kick by Xtra Large connects, and he goes off the ropes. Then a knee by Xtra Large, but Teioh hits a one-handed choke bomb, then a spinning toehold by Teioh is locked in, and Xtra Large has no choice but to tap out.

Winner By Submission: Men’s Teioh (7:14)

6 Man Tag Team Match

Brave (Taiji Ishimori, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Atsushi Kotoge) vs. No Mercy (Genba Hirayanagi, Daisuke Harada & Hajime Ohara)

Elbows by Taiji Ishimori, but Daisuke Harada elbows him back. Then Harada goes off the ropes and hits an overhead belly 2 belly suplex.

Atsushi Kotoge comes in the ring to help but Genba Hirayanagi comes in as well, Hirayanagi knocks Kotoge out of the ring but Katsuhiko Nakajima runs in and knocks Hirayanagi out.

Ishimori & Hajime Ohara get in the ring as well, but Ishimori hits an enziguiri. Then Harada goes up to the top turnbuckle and jumps off, but Ishimori dropkicks him in the chest as he jumps off.

Ishimori picks up Harada, and he hits a double knee to the chest, then a cover, but it gets a two count. Ishimori slams Harada in front of the corner and then goes up to the top rope, but Harada gets his knees up when he goes for the 450 Splash.

Harada picks up Ishimori, then an Irish whip, but when Ishimori goes for the handspring strike, Harada catches him on his shoulders and hits a reverse fireman’s carry into a slam, then a cover, but both Nakajima & Kotoge break it up.

Harada picks up Ishimori and applies a waistlock, he goes for a German suplex but Ishimori lands on his feet then a roll up by Ishimori but it gets a two count.

Ishimori goes off the ropes, but Ishimori moves out of the way and hits a snap German suplex, then a Henkei Knee Upper by Harada connects, then hits Katayama German Suplex to get the win for his team.

med Yone vs. Kenou

Mohammed Yone goes out after Kenou and hits a running lariat then Yone slides Kenou back into the ring then a cover but it gets a two count. Yone picks up Kenou and slams him near the corner, he goes up to the 2nd rope and hits the guillotine leg drop.

Yone goes for a cover, but Kenou kicks out, so Yone goes off the ropes, but Kenou kicks him in the chest.

There is another kick to the chest by Kenou as he knocks Yone into the corner. Then Kenou charges Yone and hits a jumping double knee followed by a dropkick to the head and then a cover, but it gets a two count.

Keno delivers a heel kick, then picks up Yone, Irish whip, but it’s reversed, and Yone hits a lariat. He kicks to the chest by Yone, but Kenou catches one and throws Yone’s leg into the referee.

Kenou gets the kendo stick, the referee grabs it as well, and Yone kicks Kenou in the head.

Lariat by Yone, and he goes for Muscle Buster, but Hajime Ohara runs down and interferes, so Kenou gets the kendo stick and hits Yone with it to get DQ.

Winner By DQ: Mohammed Yone (7:12)

Kenta vs. Shinya Ishikawa

Kenta puts Shinya Ishikawa in a crab hold, but Ishikawa inches to the ropes and grabs them to get a break, so Kenta stomps Ishikawa, but Ishikawa gets back up, and they trade slaps.

Kenta goes off the ropes and hits a lariat, then a cover, but it gets a two-count.

Kenta hits a Tiger Suplex, then a cover, but he gets another two-count.

Kenta picks up Ishikawa, and he hits Go 2 Sleep to score the victory.

Winner: Kenta (15:11)

Naomichi Marufuji & Ricky Marvin vs. Yuji Nagata & Jushin Thunder Liger

Yuji Nagata with a big boot, but Ricky Marvin fires back with a springboard kick. a Shining Wizard by Marvin connects, then a cover, but Nagata kicks out at two.

Marvin picks up Nagata and goes for an exploder, but Nagata blocks it and applies the seated armbar. Naomichi Marufuji breaks it up, and Marvin hits Nagata from behind with a backstabber.

Double superkick to Nagata, then Jushin Thunder Liger comes back into the ring and throws Marufuji out of it. Liger hits Shotei onto Marvin, and then Nagata hits a jumping knee in the corner.

Brainbuster by Nagata, then a cover, but Marufuji breaks it up as Liger throws Marufuji out of the ring as Nagata picks up Marvin and hits Backdrop Suplex for the win.

Winners: Yuji Nagata & Jushin Thunder Liger (17:01)

GHC Tag Team Titles Match
TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) (c) vs. Takeshi Morishima & Maybach Taniguchi

Takeshi Morishima goes for another backdrop suplex, but Shane Haste blocks it and nails Death Valley Bomb, then a cover, but Maybach Taniguchi pulls the referee out of the ring.

Mikey Nicholls gets in the ring & they pick up Morishima, but Kenou & Ohara run into the ring to help out. Taniguchi hits both TMDK with a stick but Jonah Rock comes in the ring and clears out Kenou.

Meanwhile, Taniguchi picks up Nicholls and chokeslams him from the ring down to the floor, through the table. Haste is back up and hits Morishima, but Taniguchi hits him in the back with his metal stick.

Taniguchi then picks up Haste and drops him with a powerbomb. As the referee is slid back into the ring, Morishima picks up Haste and drops him with a backdrop suplex for the win to end the first navigation 2014 day 11.

Winners: AND NEW GHC Tag Team Champions: GHC Heavyweight Champion Takeshi Morishima & Maybach Taniguchi (18:10)
