In the upcoming edition of Raw, the preview for Raw in Advance for 07/27/26 features some interesting sequences but few advertised matches.
With that, it has been announced that there will be a face-to-face confrontation, a weigh-in, a concert, and two matches.
That doesn’t really leave much room for action to take place. Will there be more to anticipate? Could we see Jacob Fatu, the Usos, LA Knight and Royce Keys all play a part in the night’s action as well?

Joe Hendry and Danhausen Concert
What do you get when two of the most popular commodities who achieved success prior to coming to the WWE are put together in a WWE ring? The hope is magic.
However, only time will tell. Fans unfamiliar with Hendry’s past concerts have heard some of his catchier songs, including his viral hits.
For instance, Hendry had one that became popular when he was competing for Insane Championship Wrestling about Drew Galloway (WWE’s Drew McIntyre) and in TNA/iMPACT on Matt Cardona, “Edge’s B**ch”.
Both captured a great deal of amusement and fanfare. They previously attempted this with his “Fire Logan Paul” song, but due to Paul’s injury, they didn’t fully capitalize on it.
The question is now: will songs be made in the ilk of mocking JD McDonough and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio?
While it hasn’t been decided yet, one has to speculate whether the recent issues involving the Judgment Day members could be a deciding factor. They really could go anywhere from mocking JD’s head to Dominik’s family legacy.

The Vision vs American Alpha
Fans witnessed the result of Akira Tozawa and Otis attempting to find out Maxine Dupree’s rationale for going to Austin Theory. The end result was nothing more than her wanting to be elsewhere, it seems.
While her response had been that she wanted to put herself first, the character seems to have forgotten that it was while with Otis and Tozawa when she captured the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, so that seemed a bit odd.
That said, the character change is something she likely can get behind and sink her teeth into. However, this change appears to have put the emphasis on everyone but Bron Breaker.
While it isn’t likely that Tozawa and Otis will be victorious, it does provide them with television time and the opportunity to showcase their skill set.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Sol Ruca (c) vs Raquel Rodriguez
After being interrupted during an interview segment by Lyra Valkyria on the previous week’s edition of Raw, Sol Ruca is looking ahead to facing Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
While Judgment Day members such as Roxanne Perez and WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan will likely back her up, that won’t likely be enough to lead to a title change.
Rodriguez has more than earned her opportunity at holding the title, but one has to wonder when that time will come.
What is interesting is whether Valkyria has any plans to get involved in this match between the two. Will Ruca come out unscathed, or will it set up her next threat for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship?

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins
Face-to-Face
It isn’t brother versus brother, but if you ask LA Knight, he may say otherwise. All kidding aside, the build-up on these two has focused a great deal on the history between the two men and, more often than not, it’s been Seth who’s gotten the upper hand in their one-on-one battles.
The difference here is that, as Solo Sikoa has shared, this likely isn’t going to be a one-on-one affair when considering that The Bloodline may play a part in their championship match at SummerSlam.
Sola has played very hard in how he wants nothing to do with the Bloodline and being aligned with them. With the MFT’s now splitting from him entirely, it appears that, if in fact this isn’t just a double-cross in hiding on the part of Solo, it remains to be seen.
Raw in Advance for 07/27/26
Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar
Weigh-in
In reading others’ opinions about the build to this match, the marketing of it appears a little odd. Has Oba forfeited his future world title opportunity, or is it simply on hold for another time?
This depends on who you ask, it seems. During a promo, Heyman said Oba ‘forfeited’ his opportunity. Does that make it simply a delay in when he will challenge for the title or that winning the King of the Ring was for nothing?
Also, whether or not this match is, in fact, Brock’s retirement match was never clearly stated or advertised leading into SummerSlam.
When it comes to a weigh-in, if it’s anything like the UFC’s, it will be chaotic, with everyone showing how tough they are. So akin to a contract signing, only no one goes through a table. Maybe someone has a scale slammed on them? No idea.
What to Expect
- Further build for the Intercontinental Championship between Chad Gable and Penta
- Has the alliance of the Street Profits and Seth Rollins shifted to no longer include the need for the Profits?
- Have we heard the last of Bayley?
