After 30-plus years on the USA Network, WWE Monday Night Raw is going to Netflix, and we present the first RAW in Advance for 01/06/25.
As RAW returns to being a three-hour show, the promotion didn’t hold back from presenting matches that will capture the attention of the WWE faithful.
This debut episode is prepared to go in with a BANG, from championship battles to speculated feud-ending battles.
Will all ultimately be resolved when Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa face each other in a Tribal Warfare match up Is Rhea Ripley finally going to get the better of Liv Morgan and recapture the WWE Women’s Championship?
Finally, will CM Punk and Seth Rollins do more than cut deep with their jabs and put an end to their animosity towards one another or scratch the surface on it moving into the Royal Rumble?
This is an episode where the stakes are high, and the rewards could be higher.

John Cena Returns!
The last time is now officially begun, on January 1st, 2025! During Money in the Bank 2024, John Cena shared that his upcoming year would be his final year of competition.
With the decision shared, what is projected for Cena has also been conveyed. Is a world title-breaking win and run ahead for Cena?
Would winning the Royal Rumble? Or Money in the Bank? Or Elimination Chamber? Any of these wins are all very plausible for Cena this year.
But what will Cena share upon Raw’s debut episode on Netflix? Whatever it may happen to be is likely to generate buzz as well. Cena’s career spanned nearly a decade and a half of active competition.
However, after being on top, it was key to help elevate those around him so that the WWE would be a better product even after his leave.

CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
RAW’s new era on Netflix could start off with any match. But this is the match that seems to make the most sense. Whether it be deepseeded animosity, the desire to succeed or simply the need to be the best, this match appears to have empassed all of it.
On the final RAW of 2024, Punk and Rollins gave a promo that was so scathing that it was impossible to find out what was a work and what was a shoot. Which comment cut the deepest?
Was it Punk referring to Vince McMahon and saying how much he loved Rollins? Or was it Rollins saying that Punk wouldn’t know what its like to be a parent?
While the winner may not be as clear to see what is clear is that this match will push both men to leave their mark on the debut edition of Raw on Netflix.
RAW in Advance for 01/06/25
Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre
McIntyre’s ire once again has turned to his issues with the Bloodline. While he isn’t a challenger for the WWE World or Universal Championships at the moment that isn’t to say he won’t be at some point in 2025.
However, while McIntyre initially put his attention on Sami Zayn towards the end of 2024, he appears to have put that behind him. Jey Uso on the otherhand doesn’t appear to be messing around.
While he apologized for the past with Drew, it seems his apologizes don’t hold the same weight as they did for Randy Orton. Jey is on a trajectory to be a singles champion once again in the WWE.

Logan Paul Returns!
After losing the WWE United States Championship, Logan Paul was absent throughout 2024. When the WWE had its press conference announcing the upcoming launch of Raw on Netflix, it also shared a return.
Logan Paul announced that he was returning, but this time, it would be for the Raw brand instead of the Smackdown brand.
While Paul isn’t returning with anyone in particular that he would be facing, it should be noted that his debut does coincide with John Cena’s return. Could this mean something? Or is it simply coincidental?
