#Preview: Limitless Wrestling Presents Fresh Blood

On Friday, October 25th Limitless Wrestling presents Fresh Blood from Yarmouth, Maine. Once again Randy Carver Jr and his team have created an event that is sure to be a tried and tested event with notable names from the past and ones to look forward to for the future. Among the biggest matches of the night is for the Limitless Wrestling Championship between ‘Retro’ Anthony Greene and Josh Briggs. The narrative there between these two is a telling one for any that have followed their growth in Limitless. Also, on the card are a first time ever matchup, threats of absolute chaos and more. Who among those on the card will be able to withstand the fury that will come from First Blood?

Alec Price vs. CJ Cruz

If you are unfamiliar with either of these men, that’s okay. Limitless Wrestling has provided for fans the last man standing match these two have been a part of previously. On Limitless’ YouTube Channel, Price and Cruz came at each other with everything they could. In fact fans, participation was also a part of the match as well. While one man was being held fans would chop, or slap the competitors.

The match’s brutality was measured by its creativity. Could you imagine using a child’s scooter as a weapon as you propel your body onto someone up against a PLASTIC table? Their match against one another was a proving ground for what they are willing to do to one another, but what will fans be in store for this time around? Will they inevitably be looking for fresh BLOOD?

Caleb Konley vs. ‘The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien’ Kris Statlander

Two individuals that are as different as they come. With Konley who has competed in IMPACT Wrestling and held championships with Wrestling Revolver squares off with Statlander. ‘The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien’ is a mainstay in Limitless. This time around these two will look for blood when they get their hands on one another. The West Islip, New York native and former trainee of WWE producer Pat Buck, Statlander squares off against a former champion in Konley.

Konley has been an active part of a major promotion and brings that experience over a fifteen-year career. Both Statlander and Konley have a similar style. This is Konley’s first time in a Limitless Wrestling ring in 2019. For Statlander’ the Maine crowd provides another home inside this galaxy and is likely to bring the fury to this matchup against Konley.

‘The Reel Catch’ Ashley Vox vs Jody Threat vs Allie Kat vs Skylar vs Masha Slamovich

Sit back and enjoy these six women absolutely tear the house down. For Ashley Vox, the reel catch has recently debuted for NWA as seen by her match against last week against Allysin Kay. Canadian Jody Threat returns to Limitless as does Skylar. The unknown in this match is one Masha Slamovich. Slamovich strikes hard and recently taped a match for Limitless Wrestling’s studio taping against Kennedi Copeland.

There is a real sense of intimidation on the part of Masha’s along with her strength and physicality. She also is relatively unknown to those in the ring with her. While the others have garnered a great deal of attention, Masha remains more of an unknown. Vox is a fan favorite and a long-time Limitless veteran and could be the one to walk away in this one.

The Butcher and The Blade and Kevin Blackwood vs. JT Dunn, ‘The Intense Icon’ Joshua Bishop and Christian Casanova

A feud based on a rivalry between Blackwood and Dunn it appeared that when you mess with Buffalo, you have messed with the wrong city. As Blackwood brings the fight to Dunn he isn’t coming alone. Pepper Parks and Andy Williams joining Blackwood have a great deal of history. Blackwood has been a regular for Parks and Brandon Thurston’s Empire State Wrestling out of Buffalo. For Dunn, there is no announcement of who will be coming to his side to defend.

Will it be those that have been mainstays in Limitless Wrestling? With several talent leaving Dunn may have an ace or two on the whole as it pertains to coming to his side? There could be a couple of unannounced names to the card that could make all the difference. But it is a, Blackwood rival in Casanova that was selected along with the Intense Icon rounding out Dunn’s side.

Alexander Lee vs Gangrel vs DJ Hurst vs Danhausen

If there was one match on this card that optimized the entire Fresh Blood or even the theme of Halloween it was this one. Between Lee, Gangrel and Danhausen alone there is a haunting nature presented by these relatively freaky individuals. For Danhausen, his career is relatively new only competing regularly since 2013 while for Alexander Lee this isn’t his first rodeo. The Bangor, Maine native has been an active competitor since 2003.

However, it hasn’t been until 2017 where Lee broadened his competitive opportunities moving around to various different promotions rather than remaining relegated to only a couple. For DL Hurst, he is no stranger to Limitless Wrestling competing in this past Summer‘s Vacationland Cup tournament. Of course, the most notable of all involved is a vampire warrior himself, Gangrel. The former WWE and ECW star plays as crucial a role now as he ever has. This match is as much about the seasoned veteran showing his worthwhile helping to showcase the likes of Lee, Hurst, and Danhausen.

Dan Maff vs Matthew Justice

The last time fans of Limitless Wrestling saw the Boricua Beast he was delivering a massive burning hammer to Ace Romero. At 42 years of age, Maff isn’t slowing down. In fact, he is just as intense now as he was twenty years ago. Maff is 10 matches shy of matching his single year total of 46. His hard as nails style certainly would take its toll on anyone. The question is what toll will it take on Matthew Justice?

A former trainee of JT Lightning, Justice is largely going to hit Maff from all different directions. The match itself is really a difference of styles with Justice offering a more aerial attack and Maff a more keep a low center of gravity type attack. Both men have a wealth of experience between them so knowing their way around a ring should come as no surprise. Expect the unexpected by what both of these men can do in the ring.

Maine State Posse vs Violence is Forever

They’re back! The Maine State Posse return to Limitless and this time around they face the duo that is synonymous with violence in a match that is a first time ever battle. Domenic Garrini and Kevin Ku, Violence is Forever are taking their talents to Limitless in a match sure to be special.

Garrini is noted Brazilian Ju-Jitsu specialist that is sure to bring the fury in their match against Aiden Aggro and Danger Kid that Limitless is their home and they someone coming in and attempting to beat them in their house just won’t sit well. What will happen when these two massive teams bring the fight to one another in a matchup that is likely to be nothing short of hell on earth? Fans will have to attend Fresh Blood to find out more.

John Silver vs ‘Legit’ Lyla Hirsch

It is certainly a match to keep an eye out on. Silver has long had a history competing along the East Coast and this time around he faces a legit threat, pardon the pun in Lyla Hirsch. Very little is recorded about Hirsch, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t someone to contend with.

For Silver, he has his work cut out for him. A former student of Mikey Whipwreck, Silver offers an intense dynamic himself. Often his feats of strength are recognized as one of his most defining qualities. How will that play into his match with Hirsch? We could see a test of strength in a match that while on the surface is a battle of genders could be in fact a test of strength between both competitors at Fresh Blood.

Fred Yehi vs Daniel Garcia

This may be the go-to match of the night. Yehi has long been known as one of the most talented men on the independent circuit. Fred has competed in promotions all across North America, but this time around he is about to step into the ring with one of the most talented men in wrestling. ‘Red Death’ Daniel Garcia’s story is one that is about as remarkable as it gets.

For anyone that knows his story, Garcia along with Buffalo standouts Puf, Kevin Bennett and Kevin Blackwood was in a nearly fatal car accident in Quebec. Months after the accident, Daniel made his return and since his return and has competed and stood out. Garcia is known for his tough as nails stiff striking ability. He is able to take punishment and manage to overcome that administer his own sense of well-being. Yehi and Garcia are likely going to stretch each other from one side of the ring to the other at Fresh Blood.

Limitless Wrestling Championship
Josh Briggs vs. Anthony Greene

Best friends but better enemies. When ‘Retro’ Anthony Greene faces John Briggs he isn’t just facing a challenger for the Limitless Wrestling Championship. Greene is facing a man he stood with while Briggs got married, driven up and down the road together. In fact, the two are signed to EVOLVE Wrestling as well. This isn’t their first time facing one another either. Fans may recall the duo have faced each other as part of EVOLVE’s 10th Anniversary.

On this night however, two men that are synonymous with one another are slated to go against another only this time the stakes are higher. These two are putting any friendship they have with one another to the side. The bigger concern here is will the most prized possession in Limitless Wrestling. After defeating MJF for the championship, Greene will have to beat easily one of his closest friends in order to hold on to the title at Fresh Blood.
