#Preview: Bar Wrestling Don’t Talk To Me Until I’ve Had My Coffee

With Summer coming to an end, Bar Wrestling is keeping the heat alive with their next show Don’t talk to me until I’ve had some coffee. Taking place tomorrow (21st August) at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles, we’ve had some match announcements bound to get you excited for a show. Of course, there will be more matches on the card and they’re all subject to change, but it will give you a feel of the kind of show it will be. You won’t be needing any coffee to stay awake for this show.

Taya Valkyrie & John Hennigan vs. Jake Atlas & Heather Monroe

What is Bar Wrestling without a signature intergender tag team match? They continue that trend at Don’t talk to me until I’ve had some coffee. However, as usual, this isn’t just a match thrown together and features some of the best talent in the entire world. On one side, we’ve got the Bar favorite and all-around sassy badass Taya Valkyrie teaming with the veteran John Hennigan. If any of you don’t know, Valkyrie and Hennigan are not only married to each other but long-time tag team partners in Bar Wrestling. This means that they are literally as in tune with each other as possible for partners and both have that brutal and tough style that isn’t afraid to break a few rules.

However, their opponents are nothing to sleep on either. Heather Monroe and Jake Atlas are becoming one of the most loved teams in all of Bar Wrestling. Both as adorable as they come as well as talented, their high flying, risk-taking styles blend perfectly together making them a team to be reckoned with. If Monroe and Atlas can put some of that cuteness behind them and use a bit of sneaky style, they have as much of a chance as winning as their opponents. It all depends on which team wants it more. Whatever the outcome, it’s a match not to miss!

Tenille Dashwood vs. Shotzi Blackheart

When it comes to showcasing women’s wrestling, very few promotions do it as well as Bar Wrestling! This match between Australia’s Tenille Dashwood and the unpredictable Shotzi Blackheart is the perfect example of this. Both women are such strong wrestlers paving their own way to where they stand now with so much work and sacrifice being put in. With Tenille, she has just returned from injury and recently signed with Impact – she has so much to show the world to make up for the time she has missed but it seems like Dashwood only gets better every time she’s in the ring.

It goes to show how little common sense another company had let her slip through their fingers. Shotzi Blackheart is also another amazing talent that is finally spreading her wings and traveling across the world to show everyone her talent. Although on the surface both seem very different, both Dashwood and Blackheart have this same passion and desire to do a well as they can in the sport and that will just create pure magic in this ring. It almost seems unfair to pick a favorite because both are so diverse!

PPRay vs. Marko Stunt & LuchaSaurus

This match is definitely one to watch out for on the card and contains some of the hottest wrestlers the world at the moment. We’ve got Bar veterans PPRay (Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas) taking to the ring with their charisma, tag team chemistry, and just awesomeness. Then you’ve got everybody’s favorite half luchador, half dinosaur Luchasaurus and the young veteran Marko Stunt teaming together. Obviously, it might be easy to say that PPRay have the advantage from the start with their experience as a tag team and a lot of people would probably agree with you.

However, as we’ve seen from Being the Elite, Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt just seem to work perfectly together and it’s a great mixture of size and strength, as well as a whole lot of speed and agility. This team combines everything you expect a wrestler to be making them tough opponents for PPRay. It might still be possible to assume that PPRay will win the match, but with the side probably being firmly behind Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt, anything is possible!

However, if you can’t buy them until tomorrow, limited tickets will be available at the door for $40. Even with only three match announcements, it’d bound to be another amazing Bar Wrestling Show at the Bootleg Theater. So, get yourselves down to enjoy some good ol’ wrestling and a whole lot of fun as Bar Wrestling presents Don’t talk to me until I’ve had some coffee!
