PROMOCIONES
CMLL

CMLL started the Tournament of Dynasty or Copa Dinastias. On May 7th, they began the first phase of this tournament to determine the first finalist team. This would end up being Los Ingobernables, represented by Rush and his father, Bestia del Ring. In the first match, they defeated Euforia and Soberano Jr. In the main event, they went against Volador Jr and Flyer. It should be mentioned in the two matches Los Ingobernables stood out to win with their best arsenal, they let out all their rudoness and cheats. They showed to Arena Mexico’s crowd that they have the abilities and skills to win this tournament.

The second phase of Copa Dinastias was on Friday, June 14th. The second finalists are Los Chavez, represented by Angel de Oro and Niebla Roja. In the first match, they defeated Los Guerreros, who was represented by Ultimo Guerrero and Gran Guerrero. The main event pitted them against Los Muñoz, who are Dragon Lee and Mistico. They gave us a great match, these four luchadors showed us their desire to represent their family. In the last moment, Los Chavez defeated Los Muñoz.

It’s difficult to leave what you love most. Now in this new chapter of his career, we wish all the best to Metalico.

Previously in ¡Esto es Lucha! it was announced that Flamita was going back to Dragon Gate. Flamita has joined the stable Tribe Vanguard on this tour, but he didn’t arrive alone. He arrived with two luchadors, Jimmy and Drastik Boy. But who are these guys?

They wrestle for a promotion called DTU. DTU is an indie promotion in Mexico where you can watch different styles like strong style, highflyer and extreme matches. DTU has a great relationship with American indie promotion, GCW. They always exchange wrestlers. DTU is led by Crazy Boy who is a luchador that was in AAA and competed in several divisions. One of their missions is to train luchadors at a young age. Some guys to have graduated from this promotion are Aero Boy, Violento Jack, Ciclope and Miedo Extremo. They have represented DTU in Freedoms and GCW.

Drastik Boy

At 27 years old, this guy has a great opportunity in Dragon Gate. Starting last year, he has had great opportunities on the US indie circuit. He has appeared for GCW, Freelance Wrestling, AAA Lucha Libre, The Crash, Aro Lucha, and IMPACT Wrestling. He has the ability to adapt to different styles, incorporating strong style, speed and lucha in his own.

Jimmy

At just 22 years old, this the most important moment in his career. He has had some opportunities on the Mexican indie circuit. He was worked with MDA, Lucha Memes, and last year had a match in AAA. Jimmy has all the energy and an attitude to continue learning. We wish both of them success in Dragon Gate and beyond.

They’ll represent Mexican style in this country, at the event Wrestlerama in Dublin on June 23rd. We don’t doubt that they’ll put on an amazing match. Stay tuned here to the Pro Wrestling Post as we will have a preview of this event. See you next week for more ¡Esto de Lucha!!
