Can Darby Allin possibly survive as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 5/13/26? On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin will be defending his AEW World Championship for a fifth time in just a month.

We will also see a 10-Man match, a Trios Match and even Will Ospreay back in action. Let us learn more about this interesting card in Asheville in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    We’ll Hear From MJF

On last week’s AEW Collision, MJF demanded a rematch from Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship. MJF offered his scarf, his Dynamite Diamond Ring, and even a million dollars to Darby Allin for a title match.

Darby Allin refused all those offers. He would only agree to a World title match if MJF offered his hair. On this week’s show, MJF will speak live in Asheville.

He seemed shocked by Darby Allin’s proposal. If he doesn’t agree to put his hair on the line, he will never get a title shot against Allin. What will MJF do?

    (10-Man Tag)

On AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy defeated Dax Harwood to earn a future AEW World Tag Team Title shot. The ring was surrounded by Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, the Young Bucks, the Conglomeration, the Dogs, and RPG Vice watching the action. Naturally, it broke down into a brawl post-match.

On this week’s show, we have a 10-Man Tag Match. The match is filled with wrestlers that have and will be fighting for Tag Team and Trios gold. Who will gain the advantage on Wednesday night?

Triangle of Madness vs. The Brawling Birds & Hikaru Shida
    (Trios Match)

At AEW Double Or Nothing, Thekla will face off against Hikaru Shida, Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander. All three are former champions looking to win back the AEW Women’s World Championship. Can Thekla survive such difficult odds?

Before she gets to Double Or Nothing, she will be part of a Trios Match against two of her opponents in Jamie Hayter and Hikaru Shida.

They will be joined by Alex Windsor of the Brawling Birds. Can Hayter and Shida get an advantage over the members of Triangle of Madness in Asheville? We know Thekla will try anything possible to win on Wednesday night.

Kevin Knight TNT Championship Open Challenge

Kevin Knight is certainly on a roll in recent weeks. He won the TNT Championship on AEW Dynasty. He defended it against Claudio Castagnoli, MJF and Hook in recent weeks. And he was so very close to defeating Darby Allin and winning the AEW World Championship just last week.

But it will be no rest for Kevin Knight in Asheville. He has issued a TNT Championship Open Challenge for this week’s AEW Dynamite. Can he possibly survive another difficult match?

    Will Ospreay vs. Ace Austin

On a recent AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay lost a match to Mark Davis by referee’s decision. After the match, he was literally carried out of the arena by the Death Riders.

It seems in those three weeks, Ospreay has supposedly been training with the Death Riders. Strange alliances indeed.

Ospreay will be in action against Ace Austin in Asheville. Austin has had more success in tag team action with the Bang Bang Gang. Can he derail Ospreay’s latest comeback?

Darby Allin (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita
    (AEW World Championship)

Darby Allin has vowed to be a fighting champion. Can he possibly survive the brutal pace? Since defeating MJF a month ago.

He has defended the AEW World Championship against Tommaso Ciampa, Brody King, Kevin Knight, and PAC in some truly physical matches. It doesn’t get any easier on Wednesday night.

He was supposed to face off against Kazuchika Okada on this week’s show. But a family emergency prevented Okada from facing Darby Allin. Instead, Darby Allin will be facing Don Callis Family member and rival of Okada, Konosuke Takeshita.

Daby Allin has to be in poor shape after weeks of abuse defending the AEW World Championship. Takeshita hasn’t had a match in AEW since AEW Dynasty. It seems a truly dangerous proposition for Darby Allin. Can he possibly overcome the odds yet again?

    What To Expect:

    • Who will be part of the Owen Hart Foundation tournaments?
    • Who else will join the Stadium Stampede match?
    • Will any other matches be announced for Double or Nothing?
