We’ll Hear From AEW World Champion MJF

“The Devil” certainly lived up to his name last week. He brutally attacked William Regal just a few weeks after Regal helped him win the AEW World Championship at AEW Full Gear. What will MJF have to say about his despicable actions? And will he address his opponent at Winter is Coming, Ricky Starks? It will certainly be another memorable promo from MJF.

We’ll Hear From Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley certainly received a surprise as he opened Dynamite last week. An angry Hangman Page returned from injury to immediately attack Jon Moxley. They continued to fight throughout last week’s show. What will Moxley have to say about the events of last week? I am sure it will lead to another fight this week in Austin.

AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter Sit Down Interview w/ Tony Schiavone

For the first time since AEW Full Gear, we finally get to hear from AEW Women’s World Champion Jaime Hayter. It has certainly been interesting to see Dr. Britt Baker has done most of the talking for the World Champion since Hayter’s victory. What will Hayter have to say about the events of the last few weeks? And will Baker actually let her talk?

Jade Cargill & The Baddies vs. Madison Rayne, Skye Blue & Kiera Hogan

Jade Cargill’s TBS Championship Celebration didn’t quite go as planned last week. Her current Baddies are still hanging out with ex-Baddie Kiera Hogan. And Bow Wow left a video message to announce he will be seeing Cargill in person soon. The TBS Champion certainly wasn’t thrilled.

On Wednesday night, Jade can get some revenge. She will be facing Madison Rayne, Skye Blue and former Baddie Kiera Hogan. Since Hogan wasn’t even given an explanation for dismissal from the group, she will certainly be motivated to prove herself. It will be an interesting six-woman tag match on Wednesday night.

Jake Hager & Daniel Garcia vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta

With ROH Final Battle coming up on Saturday, it is time for a big tag team match between members of the Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club. As both Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli are in huge matches at the pay-per-view, this is an important chance to gain some much-needed momentum.

Besides Jake Hager’s amazing hat, the other appearance we should expect in this match is Chris Jericho. “The Ocho” has some unfinished business with Claudio. Will he take this tag match as an opportunity to gain some advantage heading into Final Battle? It would be shocking if he didn’t try on Wednesday night.

Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale

It is time for the annual Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale. Usually the final two competitors left in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale would face off to determine the winner of the ring. That is how MJF won the ring three straight years. This year has a unique stipulation.

The winner of Wednesday’s Battle Royale will get to challenge MJF for the Diamond Ring. If they win the ring, they will get a future title shot at MJF. One of the most interesting competitors in the Battle Royale is Ricky Starks. Can Starks take one of MJF’s most prized possessions? It would certainly add more intrigue before their huge World Title match at Winter is Coming.

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Darby Allin
(AEW TNT Championship)

Samoa Joe is certainly feeling confident since winning the AEW TNT Championship at AEW Full Gear. The double champion has been dominating opponents since that night. But on Wednesday night, he is facing his biggest challenge to date.

Darby Allin, the former TNT Champion, will be challenging for the title in Austin. Allin is the longest-reigning TNT Champion in AEW history. And we know he is willing to do anything in a match to try to win. What happens when the ultimate risk-taker goes against the most dangerous man in All Elite Wrestling? It will be quite a battle for one of the most important titles in all of AEW.

The Acclaimed (c) vs. FTR
(AEW World Tag Team Championship)

This is a match that fans have been waiting for. The Acclaimed, arguably the most popular act in all of AEW, will be defending their tag team titles on Wednesday night. Who are they facing? Just FTR, arguably the best tag team in the world.

FTR has been waiting for their AEW World Tag Team title match for months now. While the Acclaimed have had some amazing matches during their run, FTR is at a whole different level. Will the champs be ready? And will other hungry tag teams be waiting in the wings? It should be a fun way to cap off another exciting AEW Dynamite.

What To Expect:

  • What is next for Hangman Page?
  • Will we learn any new matches for ROH Final Battle?
  • Will we learn any new matches for Winter is Coming?
