Two guys walk back into a bar, neither holding a beverage of choice, but amped up to be getting back to chatting about men and women in spandex on their latest recording in episode 28 of the Pro Wrestling Post Podcast.
But in the bar, the focus turned to what happened after SummerSlam and how one of our hosts went perfect in their predictions on this night. So, while Nia Jax wasn’t the focus of discussion, this week’s edition of the program discussed plenty of chaos.
In the latest edition of the podcast, our resident Commonwealth connection explored the SummerSlam 2024 fallout but didn’t stop there!
They went on to cover a bevy of topics, including the passing of one legend, the return to the ring of another, and the suggested implosion and reimagined identity of a faction.

We remember Kevin Sullivan
Mark Blake and Marc Madison shared their thoughts on the recent passing of The Taskmaster, Kevin Sullivan. Our hosts shared their earliest memories of the late WCW booker and wrestler.
As our hosts discussed his career, the two would go on to mention notable feuds and rivalries he was involved in and forever tied to his career.
Among the items mentioned in their memories of Sullivan was his leading of the group the Varsity Club and Dungeon of Doom.
Another of the moments that stood out and became a topic of discussion was his booking of the late Brian Pillman and their infamous unplanned finish in their ‘I Quit’ Match.
Both Blake and Madison discussed some of Sullivan’s most notable moments in wrestling history including his leading of the Army of Darkness during his time in Championship Wrestling from Florida.

The Implosion of the Judgment Day
In this particular episode, while the focus was on an array of different topics, one that was a buzzworthy discussion was Judgment Day, what happened at SummerSlam involving all members, and the following night on Monday Night Raw among them all.
Fans witnessed the group’s implosion and its subsequent reformation in one member’s image—or so we are led to believe.
Dominik Mysterio’s turn on Rhea Ripley cost her the WWE Women’s Championship, and Finn Balor cost Damien Priest his World Championship were among the talking points of the group.
With Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio virtually wrapped around one another, JD McDonough’s increased role, and Carlito’s full-fledged membership in the group, Judgment Day appears to be very different from when it first emerged, with Edge leading the group.
Blake and Madison discuss their initial thoughts about the newest incarnation along with the newly dubbed duo of The Terror Twins’ Damien Priest and Rhea Ripley.
The co-hosts also discuss their mindset of what this could do for all involved and what to anticipate next moving forward.

The Return of the OTC Roman Reigns
As part of the host discussion of SummerSlam continued, one of the most important discussions centered around the return of Roman Reigns at the end of the main event between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes.
As the match reached a crescendo and both men lay on the mat, the familiar operatic echoing sounds of one Roman Reigns would ring on the overhead speaker.
With Reigns’ arrival, the hosts discussed his return, the reaction of the crowd, the “injury” to Jacob Fatu, and what this all would signify in this feud going forward.
From how Reigns returned to how it would resemble his initial return during COVID and the birth of the Tribal Chief character, Reigns’ appeal to the crowd is quite different than it ever was before.
Throughout the discussion, our co-hosts discussed the potential scenarios of this feud and who may be included in moving into the WWE’s next major PPV/PLE in the Fall Survivor Series.
