GCW announced via Twitter that they are starting the return of live shows again on June 20th. Game Changer Wrestling presents The Wrld on GCW Part 2 will broadcast live from White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. The indie wrestling promotion has also come forward with details regarding COVID-19 prevention. This event marks GCW’s first show in the Hoosier State.

White River State Park is a 250-acre park in downtown Indianapolis. GCW will reduce ringside seating by 50% with staggered seating to allow proper social distancing. Groups of 5 or fewer can sit together if they purchased tickets together. GCW has requested fans to wear masks, which will be provided on entry. Additionally, there will be no fewer than 12 hand sanitizer stations. As of June 1st, no matches have been announced. However, GCW Champion Ricky Shane Page will likely be in action, as well as GCW Tag Team Champions Ciclope and Miedo Extremo.

Game Changer Wrestling hasn’t run a live event since The Acid Cup 2 in mid-March. GCW held the 2-night tournament at the Voltage Lounge in Philadelphia with no fans in attendance. After the scope of the global pandemic became clear, the GCW collective canceled all of their shows over WrestleMania weekend. These shows included fan favorites like Joey Janela’s Spring Break and Bloodsport 3 as well as new shows like Effy’s Big Gay Brunch.

Attendance for the event will be capped at 100 people in accordance with Executive Order 20-28. The order, issued on May 22nd by Governor Eric Holcomb, outlines the state’s phased plan to return to regular operation. Marion County, where the event takes place, entered phase 3 today. According to the order, public and private gatherings may have up to 100 people, provided they practice social distancing and proper sanitation.

GCW Announces Return of Live Shows

GCW will likely dedicate the event to the memory of wrestler Danny Havoc, who passed away on May 31st.
