In a press release sent out earlier today by AEW, they announced a major signing. AEW announced that it had signed former IWGP United States Champion, Lance Archer. Please see below the press release in its entirety.

February 26, 2020 – All Elite Wrestling today announced a multi-year deal with Lance Archer, a global professional wrestling sensation renowned for his brutal, powerhouse moves including the Blackout and EBD Claw.
Archer, a Texas native, and former collegiate quarterback, is also known by his menacing monikers – “The Murderhawk Monster” and “The American Psychopath.” Standing at 6’8” and weighing in at 260 pounds, Archer’s dominating stature and natural athletic prowess have defined his 20-year career.

The addition of Archer leaves it open for various matchups as they approach Revolution. Lance Archer recently lost the IWGP United States Championship to Jon Moxley. Moxley will contend for the AEW World Championship this coming weekend. Could Lance Archer prove to seek retribution for losing his championship to Moxley and cost him a title win himself?
