TiTan Championship Wrestling’s Winters Vengeance A Triumph

When a new promotion sets out to put on a tight, professionally run, quality card and does just that they are worth applauding. Titan Championship Wrestling’s February 29th Winters Vengeance Card at the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge was a crowd-pleaser. TCW’s crew has not only vets like Steve Monsta Mack and 58-year-old former ECW tag champion Chris Michaels of Team Splendid (who also serves as an Agent and talent scout there), but also hungry young talent on the way up.

Highlights of the show included Team Splendid’s Gorgeous George like gimmick which is “so old it’s new” and they defeated the team of Magic and Hog to get things started. I am honored to be part of Team Splendid as their Chauffeur, Mr. Evans.

In the marquee match of the night, Steve Monsta Mack and Anthony Gangone defeated WWE and NWA legend The Warlord and JGeorge, but not before Warlord turned on his partner. JGeorge is a heat magnet and great talker, who has wrestled around the world and is more than worthy of your attention.

The Congregation is also a fast-paced team worth keeping an eye on. Brother Greatness and Dashing D Thousand have been doing the East Coast circuit for a while now. They always put on an excellent match. Jake Cage is an up and comer who moves well for a big man and should also be on your radar.

I was particularly impressed with Wrecking Ball Legursky who has that old school big man gravitas plus the skills and charisma that goes beyond just size to be a major player in this sport. In the main event The Meadowlands Monster, Elia Baratz, and Wrecking Ball brawled throughout the building and went to a time limit draw. It was an exciting end to an exciting night of entertainment that left the fans happy.

One thing that really added to the evening were the plethora of quality heel managers.

The Unstable is managed by Dr. Carl Martin, The Meadowlands Monster is managed by Zac Amico, and Waylon Kage is now managed by Jared Silberkleit who sports one of the best wardrobes and quickest tongues in the business. They all add to any show they’re on.
Topnotch veteran referees Pat Savino, Alfonz Stevens, and C-Bunny kept things moving and flowing. Considering way too many indie cards are four- and five-hour endurance contests and this clocked in at closer to three, they should be acknowledged. It makes a huge difference.

Upcoming for TCW, Arn Anderson will be doing a seminar on Saturday, March 28 from 1- 4 pm. It will take place at the Berkeley Little League 43 Moorage Ave Bayville, NJ 08721. This is as part of a huge weekend Titan is having to start with an all-women’s show starring Nyla Rose. On Friday, March 27, and culminating in their Rise of the Titans show featuring JJ Dillon and Anderson March 28 all at the same venue. Details at: https://www.titan-championshipwrestling.com/.
