The question is, will new champions be crowned on this episode? La Faccion Ingobernable has their sights set on the gold and will come at VLNCE UNLTD with everything they have. The question is will that be enough to beat the duo of Homicide and Dickinson? All these questions and more are sure to be answered as ROH TV for episode #521 takes place this week.

ROH TV Episode #521
ROH World Tag Team Title Match
VLNCE UNLTD (c) vs. La Facción Ingobernable

These two teams are no strangers to one another. Whether members of their factions have faced one another in one way, shape, or form, their rivalry is far from over. Dragon Lee and Kenny King are no strangers to success. As Lee is the ROH Television champion, he knows what it takes to win. Lee is the brother of former ROH Champion Rush. Whether he is alongside Rush or not, Dragon Lee is able to do just fine on his own.

However, on this night, he and former champion Kenny King are focused on capturing the ROH World Tag Team Championship. For Homicide and Chris Dickinson, the hard-hitting and intense duo have just as many members in their faction to help them secure a win as LFI does. So the question is, who among them has what it takes to secure a victory?

Bandido & Rey Horus vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe

Of all three matches on this evening that appear to have the most excitement about it potentially, it would be this one. Both tandems have had their share of success. Mark and Jay Briscoe are easily the most decorated tag team in Ring of Honor history. If anything, they would be the measuring stick for any team that comes into the company. Bandido and Rey Horus only have each other, and that is all they need.

There is no Flamita anymore but what this means is that the ROH World Champion Bandido has the chance of becoming a multiple champion. With his sights focused on this match, one has to wonder if the Demonic Flamita will find the opening he needs to come after the champion?

Pure Rules Match:
Josh Woods vs. Will Ferrara

Both Woods and Ferrara’s match may be a pure rules, but there must be greater implications. First, there has to be a future Pure Championship opportunity awaiting the winner. Second, pure Champion Jonathan Gresham has to be looking on to this match wondering who will be the next to step up to him. Finally, Ferrara has been with Ring of Honor for several years. Throughout that time, it has taken time for him to get noticed.

However, now that he is getting noticed it is crucial that he makes the most of this match. In Josh Woods, the rising talent has faced Jonathan Gresham in the past. However, does that mean that another opportunity will likely present itself in the future after this match?

What To Expect

  • Death before Dishonor fall-out.
  • Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham could address this matchup.
