We also saw a vicious attack on Aleister Black by Buddy Murphy, and a challenger to Drew’s WWE Championship. This week we will see Apollo Crews coming back to take on MVP. Finally some clarity with the United States championship. Plus all the fallout of Orton’s attack on Drew. This is Raw in Advance for 8/3/20!

How will Drew respond to Orton?

With SummerSlam around the corner, the WWE Championship could be in major danger of changing hands. Last week Raw ended with the champ floored and The Viper standing tall, holding the WWE Championship. Randy Orton challenged Drew for the belt and the match is signed to take place at SummerSlam. If there’s one thing that can be said for the Scottish Psychopath it’s this won’t be the final encounter these two will have before SummerSlam. Randy has been on the hunt in recent weeks but he’s gonna have to be smart to outwit the WWE Champion.

What’s next for Asuka?

By choosing to help her friend Kairi Sane, Asuka lost the Women’s title to Sasha. With the actions of Bayley helping too. The Empress of Tomorrow has a serious bone to pick with the Two Woman Power Trip. Kairi has announced her “retirement” in part to the attack by Bayley. There is no lack of motivation for Asuka to seek some payback on Becky and Sasha. Losing her title and the damage caused to Asuka’s friend, the pair may have to keep an eye out.

The United States Title Situation

The U.S title will finally be contested on tonight’s show to find out who the US champion really is. MVP unveiled the new strap weeks ago on Raw but has yet to defeat current champion Apollo Crews in a title match. The Prime Time Player does have the advantage of having Lashley and Shelton in his corner. Apollo has a mountain to climb on his return to action to keep a hold of his belt.

The Monday Night Messiah Speaks

The calling card of Seth Rollins and his crew as of late have been taking out the eyes of their opponents. Just last week we saw Seth push a reluctant Buddy Murphy to injure Aleister Black in the same way Seth had injured Rey Mysterio. The Monday Night Messiah ordered the attack on Aleister after Dominik Mysterio came to attack Seth. Black came to help the son of Rey but Seth and Murphy were too cunning for the duo. Things could have been much worse if not for Dominik having a kendo stick to fight off the duo. Seth is going to have something to say about last week’s proceedings.
