#Preview: Without A Cause Volume Presents Its Getting Hot In Here!

Sports Opera hasn’t been this good in a long time here in the Pacific Northwest as. Without a Cause presents Its Getting Hot in Here. Without A Cause has certainly done their part to prove we aren’t the black hole of Professional Wrestling anymore. While we still have a great deal of room to grow, it is such an incredible pleasure to have so many great promotions in our region and perhaps a few more popping up in the near future.

It’s Getting Hot in Here is going to be a must-see show! Have a look for yourself…

10 Minute Time Limit No DQ WAC Title Match
Chase James vs. Jordie Taylor

In many ways, it feels like this is a match a long time in the making. Chase James has thus far defended his belt at every show since he won the title back in April. It was around that time Jordie Taylor made his debut at Without A Cause. Ever since Jordie debut he’s been hungry, for more… There’s a reason his nickname is Old Greedy Bastard “OGB.”

At last months show, Rated E for Everyone, Jordie made a play for the belt in a four-way competition. Though Chase came out on top and retained his belt, Jordie took the opportunity to make a bold statement. He claimed he could defeat the WAC champion in under ten minutes. The powers that be decided to take Jordie up on his challenge and made it a no disqualification match.

#1 Contender Match for the WAC Title
The Black Sheep vs. Chis Bey

It looks like everyone wants a chance at the Without A Cause belt, and really, who could blame them. After all, it is a particularly fantastic fashion accessory! It appears WAC has decided to let these two men compete to be the next contender for the championship belt.

Chris Bey has been here before. He is one half of the fantastic tag team Double Platinum who joined earlier this year. He’s flying in from Las Vegas to have a go at one of the most powerful heavy hitters in the business today, The Black Sheep, Dave Turner.

These two men have very different styles. One is a powerhouse and the other an impressive highflyer. It is always a treat to see these two styles go up against one another. On August 18th we’ll see what happens when nightmares meet the sky!

Singles Match
Kimber Lee vs. Priscilla Kelly

In this spectacular match up we have two incredibly talented wrestlers facing off! Kimber Lee is our hometown hero. She embarked on a journey and made it all the way to the WWE. Now she’s returned and it’s time to show her hometown why she’s not only one of the best, but someone we can be proud of!

Facing our hometown hero is no stranger to the Pacific Northwest. Priscilla Kelly is making her return to Without A Cause. Priscilla has been a force to be reckoned with and she is no doubt here to spoil Kimber Lee’s triumphant return to the region. However this plays out, there is one thing you can count on, both Kimber Lee and Priscilla Kelly are going to bring the house down with a fierce match.

Singles Match
Daniel Makabe vs. Erick Stevens

Daniel Makabe makes his return fresh off another win against Zach Cooper last month. This wrestling genius has a spectacular talent for twisting and bending his opponents in interesting and painful ways. Makabe is also starting to explode well beyond this region! We’re lucky to still have him working here. It would be no surprise to this writer if he doesn’t end up with one of the big promotions very soon.

Facing our technical wizard is none other than Erick Stevens. This veteran of Ring of Honor is returning to the scene after a decade long retirement. How lucky are we to have him at WAC as one of his earliest appearances since coming out of retirement? Needless to say, this is going to be a standout match and has a strong chance of stealing the show!

Tag Team Match
4 Minutes of Heat (Ricky Gibson & Eddie Pearle)
vs.
Gross Misconduct (Steve West & Drexl)

Photo / WAC

With 4 Minutes of Heat on the card, you know it’s going to be an excellent show! “Rock God” Ricky Gibson and Eddie Pearle are taking a break from their Mulletpalooza tour and heading back to Everett Washington to take on their latest challengers.

We have two opponents united to face these 80’s rock icons, calling themselves Gross Misconduct. Steve West the snot rocket himself is going to make another appearance, but he won’t be alone. Somewhere in Portland Oregon, there is a portal to hell, and this is where Drexl has emerged to plague humanity with his foul presence.

One thing is for certain, regardless if 4 Minutes of Heat win or lose, they will be forever changed after this experience at It’s Getting Hot In Here!

Singles Match
Owen Travers vs. Eddie Osbourne

Photo / WAC

If you don’t know who Owen Travers is, you are in for a real treat. He has been on the independent scene for a few years. He most recently made an appearance on WWE Smackdown Live! Owen will be making his WAC debut at It’s Hot in Here, and after you see him in action, there is little doubt you’ll be wanting more. There is a reason his nickname is “The Next Level of Entertainment.”

Facing Owen is a member of the Moonshine Mafia, Eddie Osbourne. We’ve seen Eddie at Without A Cause before. He last faced off against Darby Allin back in March the First Day Of Springboard. Eddie is a fierce opponent and his brawling style has been particularly efficient in putting opponents away. Will Eddie take down Owen Travers? You’ll have to come to Everett Washington of August 18th to find out.

Tag Team Match
The Strays (Elliot Tyler & Judas Icarus)
vs.
Young Muscle (Jaiden & Nick Wayne)

The Strays have returned! Elliot Tyler and Judas Icarus will no doubt abandon their dumpster behind Tim Horton and are probably panhandling their way to Everett as you read this article. Hopefully, they are able to find some shoes along the way… but, honestly, it seems uncertain they would do as well with their feet held in bondage.

Facing these homeless youth from the desolate wastes of Vancouver British Columbia, is a new tag team, Young Muscle. Jaiden and Nick Wayne! What a fantastic combination! Both Jaiden and Nick have worked at Without A Cause. They are both spectacular talents and we can expect great things from these two.

Without a doubt, this is going to be an incredible match. It’s quite possible no one will touch the floor on this one. You’re going to see a lot of flying in this match!

Singles Match
Jet Knight vs. Travis Williams

We have someone new on the local scene making his debut at Without A Cause. Jet Knight has been doing shows at Lucha Libra Volcanica and DOA, as well as several other promotions in the area. There has been a great deal of buzz around this young man. He’s one of the newest sensations to come out of the Buddy Wayne Academy and we’re ready to be wowed at It’s Getting Hot In Here!

Facing off against Jet Knight is the “Golden Boy” himself Travis Williams. Having turned his back on the “Cool Dad” Chris Ross, he’s striking out on his own. He’s been making a lot of appearances lately, a rising star on the local scene. There’s a reason for that, he’s good, exceptionally good! Seeing Travis Williams face off against a new talent breaking out on the scene is going to be a truly great thing to witness at It’s Getting Hot In Here.

What you might see…

There you have it, folks! The Without A Cause It’s Getting Hot In Here, card. Don’t be surprised if you see some unexpected appearances. Between Max Zaleski and Taylor Bartle, you never know what might happen. There was one person announced for the show who doesn’t appear on the card. None other than local celebrity and Twitter Verified Champion, Steve Migs. Don’t be surprised if Steve doesn’t decide to make his presence known. He has been left off the poster, once again, despite numerous warnings to WAC management. This isn’t likely to end well for someone… but whom, I wonder?

Without A Cause is an all-ages show. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 4:00 p.m. WAC is timely and prompt, so don’t be late and settle in for a fantastic professional wrestling show.

The VFW Hall has concessions with food and a full bar. There is a pre funk at WAC sponsor, Tony V’s Garage. This is also where the post-show party takes place shortly after the show ends. This is an opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the talent and the fantastic community that surrounds this wonderful promotion for It’s Getting Hot In Here.
