#Preview: Bar Wrestling – A Series of Elimination Events!

The thing that makes Bar Wrestling so special is the variety, the uniqueness and the sense of wanting to do something different each time. That’s exactly what the company has done with A Series of Elimination Events! Like their trios tournament, this show is going to feature a series of elimination matches with 7 teams of 4 and some of your favorite wrestlers in the entire industry. Being on the 21st November at the American Legion Post 241, it’s also a nice show to lead up to the Christmas period.

A lot of people would’ve seen this team and probably internally screamed. Looking at it from the outset, it is a mixture of a lot of people’s favorite wrestlers who all have different strengths.

You’ve got the Bar Wrestling legend Brian Cage that combines strength, power, and agility a man with those muscles shouldn’t have. Then there’s Killer Kross who is not only fearless but one of the most talented and underrated talents in the industry. You’ve then got these two teaming up with the amazing wrestlers in Chris Masters and Royce Isaacs who are phenomenal athletes. Looking at it from a bigger picture, this might be the team to watch and beat!

Willie Mack, Matt Sydal, B-Boy, & Rocky Romero

When you first see this team, it just screams cool! Looking at the line-up, it’s four very different athletes but with one thing in common, they just seem like the coolest and most charismatic men in the business.

On top of that, they’re all so versatile and will bring different things to the team. You’ve got the huge and strong Willie Mack who is a mix of charisma, speed, and strength. This could also be said for B-Boy who is also slightly larger in build. Combine that with the aerial offense, speed, and agility of Matt Sydal and my boy Rocky Romero, it’s a team made in heaven! Also, if you throw in sone Forever Clothesline’s, then everyone’s a winner.

Kylie Rae, Miranda Alize, Tiana Ringer & Ruby Raze

If this team doesn’t embody female empowerment, then I don’t know what will! These women are all so athletic and powerful that it really makes them a tough team of competitors which is really exciting.

You have Kylie Rae who might be this ray of sunshine from the outside but is a hard hitter with so much technical skill in her. Alongside women like Miranda, Tiana, and Ruby, you have everything a team needs from strength, agility, speed, fearlessness and just general badass-ness. Although I don’t think this team has been together or tagged together a lot, we will have to wait and see to see how they work together. They all have amazing talent separately, but now it’s time to see if they can work as a cohesive unit.

Natural Classics (Tome & Stevie Filip), Cody Vance & Chris Bey

Out of all the teams, this might be the one where people aren’t aware of all the athletes in the team.

Chris Bey is such a staple within Bar Wrestling nowadays and is it any surprise with his amazing talent, unique charisma and just his ability to connect to audiences no matter where he wrestles. This combined with the tag team of Natural Classics give them the much-needed tag team experience (because what’s better than having brothers on your team). Then you add Cody Vance, and you’ve got an all-around great team covering all grounds. Although they may not be a seasoned 4-man team, with this much variety, as long as they can all work well together, then it might be a dark horse team,

Joey Ryan, Jervis Cottonbelly, Kikutaro & Super Panda

If you look at this team and instantly think, ‘what the…’ then you wouldn’t be alone. This is one of the most bizarre and intriguing teams in the entire lot and it’s so exciting. It combines everything that is fun in wrestling and everything that certain wrestling critics *cough Jim Cornette* would despise.

You’ve got a man that flips people by their dicks, a big panda and two men in funny masks. It’s going to be an unpredictable team and that’s going to cause some upsets. Also, whatever team they’re against, it’s going to be great fun to watch.

Douglas James, Dom Kubrick, Eli Everfly & Lucas Riley

If we’ve got a team that’s full of strength and brute force, this team is a high flying dream. Bar Wrestling fans are already probably aware of how amazing Eli Everfly is (one half of the amazing DoomFly) and he combines fearlessness, craziness, and pure athleticism.

You’ve then got Dom Kubrick who is making a huge name for himself in the company and is now regularly teaming with Heather Monroe. On top of that, you’ve got James who is not only an amazing athlete but technically so sound which will compliment the other styles amazingly. Last, but not least, the team is finished by Lucas Riley who, although he is so young, has a good number of years experience under his belt. This is going to be a team that has the potential to shock a few of the larger guys and work amazingly as a team.

RockNES Monsters (BHK & Yuma), Rust Taylor & Watts

This is a team which, combined, really has a good lot of experience amongst each other. If you’ve ever watched any other big tag team shows in Bar Wrestling, you’ll know how effective the team of RockNES Monsters and Watts is. Putting those three with the unpredictable Rust Taylor and you’ve got a recipe for success.

Eric Watts is a huge man with so much strength and talent behind him, then you combine that with the tag team prowess of Yuma and Big Hunky Kev and Taylor, it’s such a diverse team and might be a front runner in the elimination series. But then, you could say that for all the teams.

If you don’t get excited by this line-up, then nothing will. With 28 of the best athletes in the world and some teams that you won’t see anywhere else, it’s a once in a lifetime show. As always, you can buy presale tickets for $25 at https://m.bpt.me/event/4414632 and you should get them quickly because they will sell out. If you aren’t sure about your schedule, very limited tickets can be bought on the night at the venue for $40. However, make sure to buy in advance to avoid disappointment. It’s a night not to miss!
