Cameron Grimes vs. Duke Hudson
This match came about during last week’s Halloween Havoc edition of NXT 2.0. Last week’s episode saw the newly established poker shark, Duke Hudson. Hudson is hoping to take some of Cameron Grimes’s fortune off his hands. On this night, Hudson has his sights on having Grimes role a set of snake eyes and end up bankrupt in the process. So what have fans learned about Duke Hudson’s poker room? What has been established is that anyone that steps into his poker room is likely to walk out without their dignity.
Is this going to be the case for Cameron Grimes? Grimes knows all too well how it feels to be embarrassed. While Grimes has often made a point of sharing how he has a great deal of money, he has proven he is so much more than that. This will have to be a time where he keeps his head up and is sure he doesn’t lose his hand.

Von Wagner & Kyle O’Reilly vs. Legado Del Fantasma
The unlikely duo of O’Reilly and Von Wagner have once again come together. O’Reilly has certainly developed trust issues with those around him. He is still recovering from the split of the Undisputed Era and doesn’t know who and if he can trust again. So, in this case, it’s only fitting that the younger Von Wagner will work to prove himself to O’Reilly. That he has his back and looks up to and admires him. Will this be the match that finally convinces O’Reilly that he can trust Von Wagner, or will it only create further doubt in his mind?
While this is taking place, it is up to the duo of Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza to once again be in a position to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships. With the recent departure of Hit Row, it also signifies a fresh start for the faction. This match is very well the first step in that direction. This match is as much about the story each individual team is attempting to tell while trying to do so in the ring against one another.

Dexter Lumis & Johnny Gargano vs. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams
The organic face turn of Johnny Gargano has been seamless. Fans saw these two bond over the recent nuptials of Lumis and his ‘wife’ Indi Hartwell. However, there has been growing animosity with the duo of Williams and Hayes with Gargano and Lumis. Fans witness Trick and Carmelo being caught in Lumis’ ‘home’ and find themselves stumbling to find a way out.
The constant throughout was the pursuit of the NXT North American championship. While it is a title that Gargano has held, and one Hayes now holds it will be interesting to see if Lumis begins to make a play for it after this match.
