Welcome to ¡Esto es Lucha! The place to learn all about the different Promociones (promotions) of Lucha Libre! And this is the place to feel and know about Lucha Libre News and Culture in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Chile.

In this post about you’ll hear about CMLL, AAA, The Crash, and Dragon Bane and Hijo de Canis Lupus. In Esto es Lucha, we will know about some events and luchadors about these promotions. We’ll talk about the main events of week and news about these promotions, so, let’s go to the Latino world wrestling.

The Crash had their last event of the year, on 23rd November in Tijuana. Where two things happened. One of them was Lucha Bros defeated Angelico and Jack Evans in a great match. At the end of the match, Lucha Bros took the micro and thank the crowd and The Crash for all the support. And they said that they will be representing Tijuana, Mexico and The Crash in all the world.

The main event of the night was for The Crash Championship. Rey Horus gave an opportunity to Bandido and Marty Scrull for his title. This was an incredible three-way match. Three guys who gave everything to be the face and the champ of The Crash. But, only one could be the winner and that guy was Bandido. The Crash has a new champ and he is Bandido who defeated Rey Horus with double 21 suplex and Marty Scurll. So, next year, we hope to know the first opponent to The Crash Championship.

Friday 29th November. The night that changes everything in CMLL. That was because CMLL announced that Bandido will be part of their roster.

Bandido had a presentation and said that he wants new challenges. He wants to gain the CMLL’s love and trust. But NGD (Sanson, Cuatrero, and Forastero) interrupted him. They said that Arena Mexico is Dinamita’s place. The first rivalry will be NGD and Bandido.

Also this Friday at the Mexican Legends event, Bandido will have the first opportunity to show everything that he has learned in the world. We need to remember that Bandido started in CMLL. But he decided to grow on the indy circuit. Many fans and CMLL have called the return of Bandido.

Also that night, we saw a great match between Soberano Jr and Negro Casas. This match was for the Soberano’s historic National Welter Championship. This belt is the first belt in Mexico, it was created in the 1930s. The match had everything from classic style llaveo and contra llaveo, speed and dives.

During the match, Negro showed us that he has all the experience and abilities to face the new blood of CMLL. The first fall was for Negro and the next fall was for Soberano. Every fall, they used La Casita to gain the fall. But the last fall, both men gave everything to get the win. This time the night was Soberano Jr’s when he applied a moonsault when Negro Casas was between the ropes.

Mexican Legends will be held on 6th December at Arena Mexico. My last ¡Esto es Lucha! post I spoke about the card. We announced about this event where CMLL will bring for the crowd, the last legends. Those who gave all their sweat, heart and blood. That night will be a night to remember. Great memories and a great opportunity to thank these stars. The main event will be Rayo Jalisco, Tinieblas Jr, and Villano IV against Canek, Fuerza Guerra, and Mascara año 2000.

Also, Solar will face El Satanico in a singles match. And Negro Casas, Blue Panther, and Virus against Mano Negra, Super Astro, and Negro Navarro. Great matches with great luchadors. Also, don’t forget, this night will be the great debut of Bandido at Arena Mexico.

The beginning of December was incredible when AAA gave us a great event, Triplemania Regia. This event was in Monterrey, Mexico. Where the most important match was the  Cage battle to retain the mask or hair between some luchadors. Kenny Omega will put on the line the Mega Campeonato against Dragon Lee. And, a three-way dance between L.A. Park vs Rush vs Pagano. Also, Taya will have a great match for Championship.

Taya retained Reina de Reinas Championship against Faby Apache, Ayako Hamada, Keyra and Lady Shani.

Rush defeated Pagano and L.A. Park in a great match where we could see that they used everything to hit them. But, the most important was the end of the match where Rush invited L.A. Park to join Los Ingobernables. So, that was incredible Konan, Rush, Bestia del Ring, and L.A. Park want to destroy AAA. Rush and L.A. Park, both are the most important luchadors of Mexico, they were enemies but now, they joined forces to the only goal… Destroy AAA’s luchadors.

The best match of the night was a dream match between Kenny Omega and Dragon Lee. Great athletes that they gave us an awesome match. The crowd in the match yelled Esto es Lucha!!! or This is wrestling!!!. The match went to Kenny Omega but the crowd thanks both luchadors and they threw money to the ring.

The main event was a Cage match where every the luchadors bet their mask or hair. This match featured Blue Demon Jr, Dr. Wagner Jr, Rey Escorpion, Texano Jr, Psycho Clown, Chessman, Aerostar, and Monster Clown. Where the last ones defined this match, we need to remember that Monster Clown and Aerostar had a rivalry months ago. But destiny wanted to put them in this match and they were the last ones in the ring. Aerostar saved his mask and defeated Monster Clown. Monterrey was testified of the Lucha Liber history when they saw Monster Clown gave his mask to Aerostar.

Also, AAA has announced that this event could watch it on Youtube this week. I highly recommended it.

Now in Luchador Spotlights, we’ll talk about two great luchadores who represented IWRG. Months ago, I posted about the alliance between NOAH and IWRG. The first IWRG’s representatives who will step up in Japan, are Dragon Bane and Hijo de Canius Lupus. So they’ll be this week and they’ll show all their skills and abilities but overall Lucha Libre Style. So we hope to great shows and next month NOAH will send their luchadors to IWRG.

Thanks for reading us and check us out next week as we continue to share all about wrestling in Mexico, Chile and Puerto Rico here on ¡Esto es Lucha! Lucha Libre news!
