On Friday, December 2nd, 2022, IMPACT Wrestling aired IPWF Throwback Throwdown III on FITE TV & IMPACT Plus. We had 13 matches in total, including; 1 pre-show match & 12 on the main card.

Mysterious E vs. Lazer (Pre-Show)
They exchanged holds early on, and Lazer sent Mysterious E to the floor with a clothesline after hitting a couple of shoulder blocks. Mr. E shoved the ref and spit a mist in Lazer’s face, then hit an axe handle off the middle rope for the win.
Winner: Mysterious E

Rapid Delivery Pete vs. Monty Moonlight
The match starts off with Rapid Delivery Pete coming out with a stack of pizzas and Monty Moonlight sipping his drink until it Pete knocked it into his face. Pete took him to all 4 turnbuckles before introducing him to all three in one corner that broke Monty’s sunglasses.
Pete countered 2 powerbomb attempts with roll-ups, then another to counter a slam before Moonlight nailed him with a knee. They traded rights before Pete scored the in after sending Moonlight into some Pizza and rolling him up for the win.
Winner: Rapid Delivery Pete (5:06)

Clock Out Match
Bill Ding vs. Jack Hammer
Jack Hammer gained the early advantage with a shoulder block but missed an elbow drop. Bill Ding hammered away on him, then stood in his hair and pulled him up as he took the fight to him.
Bing missed a leg drop off the ropes and it gave Hammer a chance to regroup and hit an elbow before ht went to pull the hole puncher off a pole, but Ding pulled him down.
Ding extended his tape measure to keep Hammer 6 feet away, but Hammer pulled him in and hammered away on him before heading to the top rope to hit a double sledgehammer for a pin attempt before the ref reminded him of the match’s rules.
Both put on their hard hats and went for headbutts, then Ding got the puncher, and Hammer grabs the time card. Ding nailed him, then clocked out Hammer for the win.
Winner: Bill Ding (8:03)

Georgia Cobb vs. Wanda The Werewoman
Wanda The Werewoman used her height to mock Georgia Cobb’s height in a test of strength, so Cobb stomped on her feet to get Wanda to cooperate. Wanda caught Cobb off the top rope but Cobb got free and slammed Wanda face-first into the matt several times before going for a pin attempt.
On the floor, the $304,000 Man hit Cobb with his cell phone, and it led to a pin attempt. Cobb used Wanda to take out $304,000 Man then sent him to the floor with a clothesline and hit a running elbow off the ropes for the win.
Winner: Georgia Cobb (6:50)
Ladybird Johnston called out Tori Nailbiter for wanting to be a pro wrestler, and Nailbiter took the mic and played to the fans about being a legend is better than being a rock star. When asked who she’ll pick to be her new manager, Nailbiter tried to answer but was interrupted by Sebastian Baker & Rusty Iron coming out.
Rusty Iron got into Tori’s face, and Tori pointed out Baker needs her more than she needs him and won’t join the hit factory. Nailbiter said we’ll find out who her new manager is later tonight.
The Sunday Morning Express came out to talk about their opponents not being able to face them, and it’s because GI Broski is chicken and not hurt. They called out Brian Bone Crunchin for a handicap match and he came out.

Tag Team Match
Stomp In Paradise vs. Sunday Morning Express
Paper Boy started it off and ran Crunchin over with a shoulder, but caught Paper Boy with a dropkick. The Editor in Chief nailed Crunchin from outside the ring and double teamed him for a pin attempt.
Shane Douglas came out and took out the Express and pinned Paper Boy after a belly-to-belly suplex.
Winners: Stomp In Paradise (5:55)

Monsieur Baguette vs. Otis Oates
Monsieur Baguette jumped Otis while he was dancing but his advantage didn’t last long as Otis took him down with an armbar.
Baquette kept up the pressure, but Otis came back with a series of rights and hit a airplane spin paused, and continued before letting Baquette Drop and Baquette got his foot on the rope to break the pin. He hit Otis with a loaded baguette for the win.
Winner: Monsieur Baguette (6:49)

Tommy Dreamer vs. Pelvis Wesley
If Dreamer wins, he gets Colonel Corn for 5 mins alone.
Tommy Dreamer controlled the match early on, and then they exchanges arm locks several times until Pelvis Wesley made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Wesley headed to the floor, and Dreamer helped them with a noggin knocker, then pulled out a tote from under the ring, but he dropped it to grab Colonel Corn & Wesley drops him Dreamers first on the barricade.
Wesley did a shimmy and shake but missed a leg drop off the ropes, and it gave Dreamer an opening to take over. Wesley hit a Shake, Rattle, and Roll but Dreamer kicked out, then hit a DDT on Wesley for the win.
Winner: Tommy Dreamer (7:51)

Tommy Dreamer vs. Colonel Corn
Corn took advantage of the 5 minutes in the ring to jump Dreamer and choke him out. Dreamer hulked up and fired off 3 rights, a big boot, but Wesley held onto him in the ropes when he went for a leg drop.
So Dreamer locked in a Cobra Clutch, but Corn poked him in the eye, and Dreamer fell back onto Dreamer for the win.
Winner: Colonel Corn (2:48)

Tag Team Match
The Audio Bodies vs. Volcanic Activity
Smokey Muffler facing Lucy Luau & Luau hits a crossbody off the ropes for a pin attempt, and Tina Tiki came in and kept it up while fighting off The Audio Bodies.
Busty Transmission came in and went to work on Tina Tiki with a slam for a near fall. Lucy hit double neck breakers on Busty and Smokey for a pin attempt Busty broke up. Smokey connects with a wrench for the win.
Winners: The Audio Bodies (7:58)

Exciting Division Title Triple Threat Match
Johnny Swinger vs. Keaton Fox vs. Biff Knuckles
The match begins with Biff Knuckles & Keaton Fox goofing back & forth while Johnny Swinger recovered from an early attack. Swinger caught them on the top ropes and shook them up, then hit an axe handle off the apron on both of them.
Knuckles took over and hammered away on both, then stomped on each of them for a pin attempt on Fox, and an Iron Claw on Swinger, but Swinger broke it with a lawbreaker. Swinger countered Fox off the top rope with a boot then locked in a figure 4 on Bully, and when Fox stumbled over to them, Swinger rolled him up for the win.
Winner: AND NEW Exciting Division Champion: Johnny Swinger (5:33)

Tori Nailbiter vs. Rusty Iron
Rusty Iron’s intensity overwhelmed Tori Nailbiter initially, but it didn’t take long for Nailbiter to go after her, and they rolled back & forth in the ring until tori came out the better. After a series of headbutts in the corner Nailbiter & Iron fell to the mat, but Nailbiter went for a pin attempt.
Baker went after Nailbiter twice, and Morton chased him off the 2nd time but we’re sure we’ll see Morton flash some moves before too long. Nailbiter went after Iron with a body slam and locked in a sharpshooter, but Iron made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Baker handed Iron a spike but Nailbiter caught her while Ricky Morton took baker out on the floor. Nailbiter nailed her with a crossbody off the top rope for the win.
Winner: Tori Nailbiter (6:11)

DJ 2 Large vs. Buck Humphrey
DJ 2 Large was fired up as he shoved Buck Humphrey away on their first lockup then stood there as Buck ran into him a couple of times and bounced off. DJ 2 Large tricked Humphrey into dancing when he kept switching hands on a test of strength, then got some more moves in with a full nelson.
Humphrey had enough and slapped DJ 2 Large then took off around the ring. DJ 2 Large paused to dance with Baby Doll then chased after Buck again. Buck finally got his chance when he hit a chop block when DJ 2 Large went after Sonny Sanders.
Humphrey went to work on DJ 2 Large’s left leg, and locked in a Figure 4 with Sanders helping Humphrey to get more leverage. DJ 2 Large managed to roll over and reverse the pressure, but Humphrey made it to the ropes to break the hold. DJ 2 Large hulks up.
DJ 2 Large ducks and Humphrey hit Sanders with his tennis racket, and DJ 2 Large nails Humphrey with a clothesline for the win.
Winner: DJ 2 Large (9:29)

5 On 4 Handicap Elimination Match For Control Of IPWF
Team IPWF (Colt McCoy, Tim Burr, Frank The Butcher, Giuseppe Jr & Giuseppe Sr) vs. Team GLUW (Devon Damon, Neptune, Lord Humongous & Manfred The Mad Mammal)
A brawl erupted, and Team GLUW held the ring early on with Tim Burr being mauled by the Mad Mammal. Burr fought back and slipped free from the Devil Demon and tagged in the Butcher, and he took it to GLUW.
Lord Humongous tagged in and faced off with Butcher and they battled to a standstill after three shoulder blocks by Butcher until Devil Demon hit him from behind and Humungous eliminated him with a pin.
The Cowboy became a snack Manfred for Mammal but he fought back against Humungous and fed him to Mammal. Burr chop blocked Humungous down, and Cowboy hit a bulldog. Giuseppe Jr. tagged in and hurt his ankle after he leaped off the middle rope and rolled to the floor where Giuseppe Sr. let him drop to the floor.
Burr didn’t have much luck in chopping down Neptune, but he did manage to roll him up for a pin to eliminate him. Cowboy went to work and pinned the Devil Demon after Burr hit with an axe handle.
Burr sent Humungous out of the ring after numerous chops, and hit Mammal with an axe after Mammal missed it and Burr was disqualified. Giuseppe Sr. put himself into the match and tagged in and took out Humongous and Mammal to turn the tide. A double stunner followed, and Jr. double-counted the win for IPWF.
Winners: Team IPWF (15:25)
After the match, they rolled Walter Chestnut into the ring for Sr. to hit a Death Valley Driver for the three count to send a message and then destroyed the GLUW sign.
