A Tournament Continues

The epic tournament announced by General Manager William Regal on The Bump two weeks ago continues on this edition of NXT. Akira Tozawa, Jake Atlas, El Hijo Del Fantasma and KUSHIDA are all on the board with wins. How will the rest of Group A and B even out the playing field? Will Swerve’s confidence finally earn himself a win? Can the Premier Athlete bounce back on route to being a 2-time champ? Can The Gentlemen creep closer to getting the gold? And the biggest story of the tournament: can Drake Maverick go from the unemployed to the uber champion of the 205-pound division?

Limitless or Live Forever

The North American Championship Main Event

Damian Priest continues to become a thorn in the side of the Limitless One, Keith Lee. Between his encounters with Lee during his battles with Cameron Grimes and Dominik Dijakovic, to even his run in on the champion during his match with Velveteen Dream against the Undisputed Era, Priest is looking to earn his crown on his way to live forever.

But Keith Lee’s story is of great triumph. From his early days to NXT to now, Lee has made it his mission to show the world he has no limits. But the ‘Moment Maker’ and the man the entire WWE can’t get enough of finally goes head-to-head with one of his biggest obstacles yet.

When these two men faced off months ago one-on-one, Damian came out on top which was then considered an upset! Will Keith Lee continue his Limitless reign as one of NXT’s most dominant North American champions in the title’s history? Or will Damian Priest finally earn the right to live forever with a crown to match?

And in the words of Tom Phillips, what in the world is going on in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center? Once again, a mysterious truck attempted to kidnap an NXT Superstar as El Hijo almost became a victim. Why is this happening and where is Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza? Also, we find out what surprise NXT Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle has for his unlikely partner, Timothy Thatcher. Will we get a date for Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream for the NXT title?

That was Coming Up NXT 4/29/20, tune in tonight because it’s Wednesday and NXT is only on the USA Network!
