Brace For IMPACT for 12/15/2020 | Final Resolution Fallout

This week on IMPACT Wrestling, we will see the fallout of Final Resolution. The IMPACT Plus exclusive event was an exciting show, to say the least. Kenny Omega and Karl Anderson had a reunion. Manik returned to answer the Defeat Rohit Challenge and capture the X-Division Championship. Chris Bey and Rich Swann made history as they became the first black wrestlers to compete for the IMPACT World Championship in the main event. All that and more is currently streaming on the IMPACT Plus app. Let’s see what’s going to happen this week as we Brace For IMPACT for 12/15/2020

____________

Cody Deaner to join Eric Young and Joe Doering?

Eric Young went absolutely mental after defeating Rhino at Final Resolution. Along with Joe Doering, Young viciously attacked his fallen foe. Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake came out to make the save, in repayment of Rhino coming to their aid not long ago. That’s when Cody Deaner shocked the world, attacking Cousin Jake. Deaner shouted to Eric Young that he wasn’t a nobody before striking his cousin with a plastic shin guard. The World Class Maniac then looked at Cody Deaner with approval in his eyes before Deaner left the ringside area. Does this mean Eric Young and Joe Doering have found a third partner in their reign of destruction over the IMPACT Wrestling roster?

Larry D Goes To Prison

On last week’s go-home episode of IMPACT Wrestling, the search for John E Bravo’s mystery shooter came to a close. For weeks, Detective Tommy Dreamer had been searching for the person who shot Bravo at his wedding on October 27th. Last week, Larry D of Team XXXL admitted it was he who carried out the attack. The superheavyweight attempted to murder John E Bravo out of his love for Rosemary. This admission led to a match between Larry D and Tommy Dreamer at Final Resolution. The Stipulation: If Larry D failed to defeat Tommy Dreamer, he would go to jail. This week, we’ll see the fallout, as Acey Romero potentially says goodbye to his tag team partner for a very long time.

Chris Sabin vs. Karl Anderson

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley lost their IMPACT Tag Team Championships after Ethan Page, and Josh Alexander attacked them before the bell. Since then, Shelley has been healing from a neck injury. This means that The Motor City Machine Guns never got a championship rematch. Now, Karl Anderson, one-half of the reigning champions of The Good Brothers, is in a similar situation. Ethan Page attacked Doc Gallows, putting him on the shelf for 4-6 weeks. However, following his win over Page at Final Resolution, there are no #1 contenders to the Tag Team Championships. This week, Chris Sabin is out to change that by defeating half the champions in singles action. With Alex Shelley in his corner, will Sabin bring MCMG back into championship contention? Or will we be waiting to find another pair of #1 contenders?

Tasha Steelz & Kiera Hogan vs Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary

Tasha Steelz & Kiera Hogan have quite a bit to fight for in this Knockouts Tag Team Tournament match. The up and coming duo lost quite a lot of money on Saturday night as a result of the match between Hernandez and Fallah Bahh. However, one could imagine a hefty winner’s purse should Steelz & Hogan be crowned Knockouts Tag Team Champions at Hard to Kill. But before they can do that, they face off against Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary. Last week, Wera Loca and The Demon Assassin defeated Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee. A win like that means Taya and Rosemary have significant momentum. However, Rosemary failed to defeat Purrazzo in her championship match on Saturday night. Will Steelz & Hogan use this to their advantage and step through to the finals? Find out Tuesday night on IMPACT Wrestling.

Kenny Omega & Don Callis Return!

Last week, Kenny Omega made good on his word and appeared on IMPACT Wrestling, along with his new manager Don Callis. The AEW World Champion and the Executive VP of IMPACT Wrestling explained their actions at AEW: Winter is Coming before they explained their presence. Kenny Omega told a story about his former hobby of collecting comic books. He had several rare comics in his collection, but he could never afford the expensive ones. Now he’s older and he’s found a new hobby: Collecting championship belts. He’s currently got the AEW World Championship and the AAA Mega Championship. Now he’s flirting with the idea of challenging IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann. This week we’ll hear more of what The Best Bout Machine has planned for IMPACT Wrestling.
