AEW Rampage for 3/4/22 (Revolution Rampage Go-Home Show)

.This week on the AEW Rampage for 3/4/22 edition, fans will witness the final stop before AEW presents Revolution this coming Sunday, March 6th. So while a number of matches are already decided for this upcoming pay per view, one final qualifying match has yet to decide a final participant. Therefore, four matches are scheduled to occur this week, with two not listing a challenger.

We have Keith Lee competing this week with his opposition not announced at the time of this writing. Also, The Professor Serena Deeb and her 5-minute rookie challenge is also on the card. Along with a TNT Championship match and Face of the Revolution qualifying match, these two rounds out this week’s card. Here is our preview for AEW Rampage for 3/4/22 edition.

Keith Lee in Action

On this past week’s edition of Dynamite, Keith Lee was once again confronted by Powerhouse Hobbs and FTW Champion Ricky Starks. Upon their interruption, what appeared to happen was a threat once again. For Lee, he will be involved in the Face of the Revolution matchup. But before that, he steps in the ring with someone that has yet to be announced yet.

What one could presume would happen either before or after the matchup is that Lee is once again confronted by Team Taz members, Starks and Hobbs. But, at the same time, it’s unknown how or what they will do to get the better of Keith Lee.

Once again, Serena Deeb will offer some relative known an opportunity. While the often 5-minute squash matches have showcased Deeb’s dominance, it undoubtedly has to lead to a pay-off with her taking someone for granted and either losing or having them go the distance.

Ethan Page vs. Christian Cage

That isn’t a typo as a Page faces a Cage, and despite all their rage, they won’t be rats in a cage? The Smashing Pumpkins reference notwithstanding, this match is the first singles matchup Christian Cage has been in since September 2021. He hasn’t been injured but acted more as a mentor to the current AEW Tag Team Champions.

For one-half of the Men of the Year, Ethan Page comes in hoping to prove to his fellow Ontario, Canadian-born competitor that he will be the one to advance. It is to this upcoming Sunday’s Face of the Revolution matchup.

Anytime Allin and Guevara stand in the ring against one another, the result is always an end-to-end adrenaline rush showcasing the talent of both. When we add the element of veteran and a former champion in his own right, Andrade, the expectation is that the match will be nothing short of electric. While these three men will be part of a six-man tag this weekend, the question is, what will be left of them after this match?

Sting remains the most vulnerable out of this match. Isaiah Kassidy and Matt Hardy could attack the icon outside of the ring while future teammates are challenging once another. The odds against the champion and Allin as Andrade may have the least amount of distractions as this match occurs.

What To Expect

  • Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy address their upcoming triple-threat title match at Revolution.
  • This Sunday, Britt Baker addresses Thunder Rosa ahead of their Women’s Title Match.
  • Further discussion of Tony Khan’s major announcement on the purchase of Ring of Honor
