We’ll Hear From Christian Cage

After the heartbreaking loss of the AEW World Tag Team Championships, Christian Cage shocked the fans by viciously attacking Jungle Boy. Cage had been an ally and a mentor to the Tag Team Champions for months. What will he have to say on Wednesday night?

Cage hasn’t wrestled a lot in recent months. Could he be jealous of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus’ success? He certainly has a lot of explaining to do after the events of last Wednesday night.

Bryan Danielson Will Address Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts

Bryan Danielson hasn’t wrestled since AEW Double or Nothing in late May. With potential matches at Forbidden Door and an upcoming match against Blood & Guts, it is time for Danielson to address his AEW future. He will do so on Wednesday night.

What will Danielson have to say? Here is hoping he can wrestle on the two massive shows. He has proven himself to be one of the best pro wrestlers in the world. The pro wrestling world will be eagerly waiting for the big news on Dynamite. Fingers crossed it will be good news.

Marina Shafir vs. Toni Storm

After her loss to Thunder Rosa on a recent AEW Dynamite, Sharif proved herself to be a poor sport by attacking Rosa after the match. Thankfully, Toni Storm arrived to save the AEW Women’s World Champion. Shafir will try to get some revenge on Toni Storm on this week’s AEW Dynamite.

Toni Storm has a huge opportunity against Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Forbidden Door on Sunday night. Here is hoping she won’t be looking past Sharif on AEW Dynamite. Marina would like nothing better than to hurt Storm before her big match on the pay-per-view.

Penta Oscuro vs. Malakai Black
(AEW All-Atlantic Championship Qualifying Match)

The rivalry between House of Black and Death Triangle reaches new stakes on Wednesday night. Penta Oscuro will face Malakai Black with the final spot in the Fatal Four Way at Forbidden Door to determine the first ever AEW All-Atlantic Champion. Who will join Pac, Miro and Tomohiro Ishii in that huge match on Sunday night?

The matches between House of Black and Death Triangle have always been show stealers in recent months. Penta and Black certainly have enjoyed physical match-ups during this personal feud. Which one will get the coveted final spot? It will be a fun match on Wednesday night.

Will Ospreay & Aussie Open vs. Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice

It was certainly a surprise to see Will Ospreay’s opponent for Forbidden Door announced as Orange Cassidy. The laziest man in pro wrestling was making his return from injury just last Wednesday night. He will challenge Ospreay for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship on Sunday night.

On Wednesday night, the two competitors will face off in the ring in a trios match before Forbidden Door. It will certainly be a contrast of styles between Ospreay and Orange Cassidy in this unique match. Who will gain the advantage before Sunday night?

Jon Moxley & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Chris Jericho & Lance Archer

Jon Moxley was excited to face off with Hiroshi Tanahashi. It is a match over three years in the making and it will be for the AEW Interim World Championship on Sunday night. As the “Ace” was about to speak last Wednesday night, the Jericho Appreciation Society ruined the special moment. They attacked Moxley and Tanahashi until Kingston, Santana and Ortiz made the save.

On Wednesday night, Tanahashi has to work with Jon Moxley in a huge tag team match. It will be Hiroshi Tanahashi’s AEW in-ring debut. Can the two opponents at Forbidden Door possibly coexist on Wednesday night? Since they are facing the dangerous team of Jericho and Archer they have better be prepared. It will be a fun way to get us ready for Forbidden Door on Sunday night.

What To Expect:

  • Will we learn more about “Blood & Guts”?
  • What New Japan wrestlers will appear on Wednesday night?
  • Will we learn about more matches for Forbidden Door?
